Amazing game that shows the chess genius of Magnus Carlsen. Listen, let my voice melt your brain, let the tingles flow through you, relax and let go. You'll either fall blissfully asleep or get better at chess. In both cases you win.

I remember I was in a film production class once and our professor said, “You have to learn and master the rules so then you can learn how to break them,” and this is the vibe I get from watching Magnus sacrifice that queen.

See, this is why i think your videos are better for day time relaxing, maybe during lunch or something. They’re too interesting and it keeps me up! I would say that the special hand effects are well done but the slow methodical replacement of the pieces in their original positions made a nice asmr tapping ;) something to consider. well done!

As someone who really doesn't understand chess at all, I have to say this is brilliant! I understood everything that was happening and it was like getting a behind the scenes look into an area I knew nothing about! I also have to say I loved the quote fingers in frame at minute 25 - very funny!

Black at 37:00 might be the coolest thing I've ever seen on a chess board. That picture transcends chess & speaks to something bigger, much as people love watching fluid attacking patterns in anything, a truly impenetrable defensive structure will always win & is a lot more beautiful than people realise.

Love all your vids, love how you explain games, love your philosophies around chess! If I were to be a selfish man I would request more of you playing with commentary, openings or a new idea might be analysing your own games (supergms are difficult to follow but your games and how you reason your moves make sense to me despite you being circa 1000 elo higher) and your tapping and whispering are top notch so more of that. All the same love your work thankyou!

Following on from this seconds after writing my message you have given a great example of why I think your explanations of games are so good: you say anish does pawn to b4 but before that I will show the other moves to highlight what pawn to b4 achieves. Best chess teacher ever

Video idea: This is move 8, and White is dead lost. But what is even more shocking is the number of beginner to intermediate players up to this day that still lose to the Fried Liver Attack. In this video, you will learn three ways to brutally punish the Fried Liver, including the safest one, the riskiest one, and the most satisfying one.

Personally, I really like the Caro-kann (vs E4) and the Slav Defense (vs D4, can transpose vs C4), since they both have similar pawn structures and middle game ideas.

I like the Caro against e4 and King’s indian against d4. I’m only 1100 rn, but I know 2000s who play these pretty much exclusively as black. Both have pretty simple ideas to start out but the theory can quickly get complicated the higher up you get, so keep that in mind

hola ASMR chess, i'm truly sorry for breaking this down to you, i watch your channel because it soothe my soul before sleeping and not for the games itself, i really enjoy your raspy voice but i love the sound of the chessboard, and this one simply does not deliver, i know it's really handy since it's so compact, but really it drags down the ASMR part of the channel, i hope that you will switch it for some videos or alternate, as always love your content, i'm really sorry for telling you this but i've don it because i sicerely care a lot about this channel (and also i watched the Hikaru Nakamura video for sleeping like the 14 times this night).
