SM64 ROM Hack #1: Luigi 2007 Patch

Here we are. I've been planning on doing this for a while but i've been conflicted on how to handle this for a while. In this series, I want to play as many SM64 ROM Hacks as I can, in chronological order of release. I'd like to say i'll play them all, but there's quite a few things stopping me. So here's why i'm not going to be playing every single one of them:
1: I feel bad even saying I "played" ones like this one. Its a simple model swap, which there are hundreds of, and I simply do not have enough time in my life to get 120 stars with every single possible model and texture swap. I will be checking out these hacks like I did here, as well as checking for text differences. None are present in this one, but an added pipe to hop on top of the 2401 statue is neat. I won't be beating the game in any hacks unless it actually changes the mechanics of Mario's movement.
2: Kaizo hacks. Even with save states, these take so long to complete very small portions of these games, and without save states I would have to dedicate my entire life to trying to beat them. I really did try to do this with save states, but the second hack "Super Mario 128" is just so much shenanigans that it genuinely made me postpone starting this by over half a year, as I was having no fun at all even attempting it. In the future once i'm more accustomed to the controls, i'll definetly try to attempt more and more Kaizo hacks, but for now I will be skipping them. Even if I were to become the best player though...
3: Impossible hacks. There is a few hacks entirely designed to be TAS only, as in its physically impossible for a human to complete them, even if they played perfectly. Those alone makes this task impossible.
4: SM64 is one of the games with the most ROM Hacks in the world, chances are that i'll die or get bored long before I beat even half of them.
5: There are now Mario maker esc hacks that have custom levels made by the thousands, i'll definitely try to play as many random levels as I can, but I can't make any promises.
6: I am using romhacking.com as the basis for this. There's undoubtedly tons of hacks from other corners of the internet, but unless there's any specific ones that stand out to me, I will not go out of my way to play them.
But yeah, goofy Luigi model.

It's the menu for Retroarch, which is used by the "Parallel Launcher" emulator. Id highly recommend using Parallel Launcher for Mario 64 ROM hacks, just because of how easy it makes playing them.
