Same here. In my experience Joel is one of those streamers I need to be in the right mood to enjoy, but Simpleflips is chill and enjoyable whenever. That's not really a problem with Joel, he's just a different type of streamer in my mind, if that makes any sense?

That was my intro to him too. I didn't even subcribe to any of the KZreadrs in it, it just popped into my recommended... And after watching it, I thought Simple was absolutely the funniest dude, so i went and subbed... Fast forward, and i've seen every vid from him, most of them 5 or 6 times... He's really good comfort... And his vods are good background noise. Absolutely my favorite youtuber.

This is awesome. It could honestly never get old since it's entirely random on what could even happen!

Can't wait for Chaos 3.0 Bingo, when "win 5 games of pong" is on the bingo card.

The hack was chock full of various Vinesauce references and other jokes and gags, and at the time "Shoutouts to SimpleFlips" was actually considered to be a Vinesauce meme, so of course, there was a sign in the game that simply said, "Shoutouts to SimpleFlips." Joel's response was, "Ah, gotta squeeze it in there somewhere, ya know." By that point, I _had_ to look him up.

31:48 actually simple, mario's hp is a numeric value that goes from 250 all the way to 5.x k pannenkoek has a video on it with a more detailed explaination. when you're underwater, you lose this 5.x k rapidly, something like -20 per frame, or something like that, the hp displayed is kinda % based so if we imagine 250 as 0 something like from 251 all the way to 560 is equal to 1 point of hp on the display. that's why sometimes you can stay alive long enough underwater and sometimes you can't, even though you're at the "same hp" both 5.xk and 4.x k display as full hp even if the latter is smaller by a huge margin.
