@@guy_th18 Specifically, I'm pretty sure it was one of the who-knows-how-many IWBTG spin-offs, not the original. However, unfortunately, I don't remember which one. I'm *_pretty sure_* it was talked about during one of the ones played during a GDQ event, though. So hopefully that should narrow it down if you wanna look for it. Hope that helps.

Holy shit this was the funniest thing I've ever seen. This felt like an incredibly well planned comedy skit. I didn't stop laughing for a second. Every time you failed to jumpkick, when you couldn't walljump through the way too wide gap, when you ledge grabbed just below the chuck ya. Everything was perfect. 10/10

This is the biggest monstrosity ive ever seen. Its like the guy let the game create the collision for every single slight surface or wall. It would explain the tiny star shrine not working because there is way too many different ground and wall planes on it. Im surprised that you could interact with half of the floors there because the wall collision should have just yeeted mario way from them every single time. Anyway this video was so freaking hilarious nice one

I get the feeling the stars are all inside ceilings because the creator didn't know that they go upward infinitely (or up to the nearest floor above them) This is why you need to watch Pannen's videos if you're gonna be making romhacks. There were no Gay Baby Jails this episode. Current GBJ drystreak: 26 So, this one has been haunting me for days. How do i approach this video? Well i conclude that there is a lack of information on this hack. Most of the time, the game also simply crashes on death. Meaning that if you die, you can get out of GBJ which should be possible in most locations in the hack. This ones very, very weird

In the original gay baby jail. Simple couldnt escape because if he exited the course the game crashed. A crash isn't a gay baby jail but if a location traps you and the only way out is to exit course and crash the game intentionally then its exactly the same as the original gay baby jail

Not even Simpleflips is safe from cancerous Twitch chat. It's always better not to include it as a whole - though picking out specific comments like in the video is fine.

When Simpleflips said "Zelda Themed Romhack Competition" what some people heard actually was "Vaguely Zelda Troll Hack".

this looks like the work of someone like me, where they see a great idea in their head and just jump right into making it without knowing anything about how their tools work. and honestly, i gotta respect the learning process and their willingness to show off something like this to a whole bunch of people. hope they keep at it.

to this day still one of my favorite moments in these competitions because of how hilarious it is watching simple try his absolute best at solving the shortcomings

One of the greatest stream experiences of all time. Let's hope nobody submits hacks like this on purpose, though.

I was waiting for the punchline at the end of the video to be Vic was the one who made this hack on a slow day of editing streams, but no it was the best troll hack ever and it wasn't even a troll hack. After everything was finalized Simple still got trolled by the warp at the end.

What Simple doesn't know is that his bewilderment actually plays directly into the hands of the sinister creator of the hack, as in truth this hack was created as a sneaky way to trick players into summoning Cthulhu with controller inputs.

This feels like good old simpleflips content and i love it

This so-called Mario 64 "Professional" failed to collect even one star, so I am revoking his license.

Alright, here's what I conclude: I think this hack is supposed to be mirroring the shrines from Breath of the Wild (note the hack's name). In BOTW, Shrines have puzzles that you have to do to unlock your final reward. What I'm saying is: I think all this time there was some sort of puzzle you were supposed to do to unlock the star, but nonetheless we got this beautiful art piece, so I'm not complaining either way.

I got to the stream when Simple was getting cucked by the impossible star, the number of chances Simple gave to the hack and the consideration he had for the creator almost don't correlate.

i dont think you guys understand, on that sign where he said mario is in a different game not meant for sm64 hes talking literally. he directly imported the map of great plains modified it a bit and released it.
