You know the stupidest thing I ever read is anyone saying SM artist can’t sing. SM might be an awful company, but their training for singing and dancing are the best. Yes, SM artist do lip sync, but that didn’t meant they can’t sing. They just don’t because company tell them not to do that. They can sing. Every single one of them.

Lets be real. Every SM artist can sing. Theyre the OG kpop company so theyre living up to the claim

Never seen a bad SM singer to be honest, even the rapper are good vocally. Not a huge fan for the company, but gotta admit, they produce whole lot of the best singers in the industry.

That Sticker performance is smth else. It’s for the history books for sure. Like everyone was in perfect condition and nailed their lines. From rap to vocals they sounded better than the original recording. And that song is challenging af too but NCT 127 really ate it up🔥💚

most people don't know that these music shows require groups to perform several times so they can film them from different angles. If you have a comeback and have to sing and dance these hard choreos so often, usually several times per day, chance is high you'll damage your voice. That's why it's neither feasible nor healthy to sing live and that's why it's completely ok to let the backtrack work for you every now and then. If fans want their artists to keep singing in the future, it's better to cut back sometimes or you'll end up like Adele (who people say damaged her voice a lot by not taking care of it properly and overdoing it)

@@AlexBsSecret wow I never knew that! Thanks for the info, now it totally makes sense. I mean yeah, they are singers and their USP is their voice, so they must be careful not to strain or damage it. But I am just asking out of curiosity, what about encore stages? Because I remember seeing Aespa lipsyncing even during thr encore. Even though recently I think I did find some live encore from them too. I guess they are opening up to more live singing, slowly but surely.

@@ShadesofDiya you're welcome. Sadly fans always discuss and hate even without knowing all the facts. As for groups not doing the encore live: they might have more schedules on that day or weekend, could be an event where they have to sing and perform or a photoshoot which will take hours and can be taxing on the body too. So as to protect your assets, companies might advice them to not overdo it on the music show, the next one is probably already waiting.
