Slytherin Common Room. LEGO Harry Potter. Modular Hogwarts MOC

I've recently had a change of thought about how I'm going to be displaying my Hogwarts MOC. I've always been more about interiors than exteriors and as such I have decide to stick to just one viewing plane. All of my latest generation of models are purely designed for front on viewing and so some changes have had to be made.
This week we are building the next of my new generation of Common Rooms, Slytherin. Enjoy.

This looks great - I will give this a try. I don’t have any trans green but maybe trans blue, will have to check my supply before ordering anything.

Trans light blue works well too. The darker blue might feel a bit oppressive. If you have a go at the build I'd love to see your take on it.👍

I’m just catching up but your videos half make me spend ridiculous amounts on bricklink eBay and mecari and half the time I can save money by living vicariously through you. Once you make a merperson build I’m doomed with the armies of both versions I’ve accumulated

Looking great as always! I’ve got the digital designs for my Slytherin Common Room sitting on my laptop at the moment, just need to order the right piece! Love the window detailing, the trans-bright green really pops, might have to swap the trans-green on mine out…

Thanks! The light box really helps the windows pop but against the wall at the bottom of the castle everything is obviously dimmer so the bright bricks really help. Looking forward to seeing your build 👍
