So I completely forgot about this. The guy that talks about the blue color and concentrates and mixes the color in the tubes is my dad! He is still in this industry but with a different company now.

When I was a kid if someone had told me in the future I'd work somewhere where i could literally drink as many of these as I wanted my head would have exploded. Now that childhood dream has come true. I hate my life....

I really miss these from my childhood back in the 70's and 80's. Grape & cherry were my favorites. Used to ride my bike to the Dixie Dandy in Columbus GA and get my Slush Puppie fix.

I was born in 1979 and I remember drinking slush puppies back in the mid 80's and 90's too..

The ones you mix yourself are the best slushies ever. The already-mixed stuff is just like any other convenience store slush. We still have a couple vintage machines running locally. Worth the half hour drive.

cbthethird stoelting still makes the older style where you mix it yourself, I own a newer one from 2011, and I also have a frozen carbonated drink machine, just like the one at 7:11

Use to get these at Highs dairy, when we walked home from school. That store is gone and there's no more slush puppies anywhere. Loved the stuff and I can't believe no one carries it.

I love unwrapped.

I love the original machine we had one at school in the caff and it was 1 dollar for a large and 10 cents for an xtra pump of syrup I always drank blue rasberry, so bloody good I can taste it watching this video.

I remember Slush Puppies when I lived in the UK.

Don't they have the cola flavour in the US? That and Cherry are the ones I pick most.

They were better in the 80's as they werent slush they were more like a slush of ball bearings the ice was like round droplets. Today there more like slurpees

you know here's my idea for a slushie. take some soda of fizzy drink as the lads in Ireland call it, place it in the fridge and after it's frozen place the ice cubes of soda in a blender so you get the flavours

They make the slushies in Detroit to save money on refrigeration, instead of using machines, they just put them by the windowsill... And BAM, you've got a slush puppy.

The "Slush Puppies" I remember from the Ice Rink I'd get them from were made of tiny spheres of Ice mixed with the syrup/flavoring. What is going on? These look all "Snowy".

Soooo. A slush puppie IS supposed to have some sort of consistency. The one I got at the gas station came out watery and the ppl behind the counter said it was SUPPOSED to be like that.

Slush puppies are always super slushy and full of crushed ice.. they’re never watery and if they are it’s cuz the people don’t know how to work the machine lol!! I hope you get a good one someday :D

i like kool aid slushys, 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of water, 2 cups of ice, 1 kool aid pack, and 1 blender = delicious :)

Autos Básicos I would go with an off brand of ice, with ice you have to use their machines, their syrups, and their maintenance system, it’s cheaper to buy a used machine, and buy FCB syrup

Diabetes in a cup. They are deliciouse though, a great occasional treat but holy crap are they sugary. I think part of the reason I was a fat kid was because I loved these things lol

It chilles an aluminum barrel which turns special neutral syrup that has no flavor, and is just sweet, to ice crystals suspended in sugar, no ice is added a beater bar scraped the ice off the sides of the chilled aluminum barrel, I have one in my own house, if it runs constantly, it doubles my electric bill for the month
