hi guys. love the fact your out there on the baker its one of my favorite spots. one thing that might help catch more gold on your black matt is to have an even flow of water coming in your sluce hopper. almost a perfect v shape of water. and try not to walk infront of your sluce while running it it changes your water current. just food for thought guys and good luck!!!

yes i did find the key chain thanks and yes i did find a little more. I went back up the weekend of 10/17/2020 and went to another location and brought back a little over 5 gallons of concentrates.

thanks it was nice to meet you guys in person. i plan to go up this weekend 10/23/2020 and conform that i did find the pay streak in the river. i think i am finally over the gold fever. i say this because i started looking for more gold in my pan instead of just looking for gold. i was in a area where there is gold and started to do test pans, like going deeper in the ground, and looking in different close by patches. but it was weird, i found gold in a certain level of the river, going above or below this level produced much less gold if any. and the last pan i did i found more gold in that one pan than any other so, i think i was heading in the correct direction of the pay streak. what do you think and i will send you a note as to how i do when i get back from up north.

Are you closer to the rumney cliffs or the ball field/swim hole in wentworth.?

Not far from the ball field. There are two no trespassing signs at this location now.

I got it on eBay and just tried to see if I could find another one to give you the link but no luck. If you do a t-shirt search on eBay you may find ones similar. Tom

Although in one episode called “The Great Prospector Showdown” we competed against each other in a competition to see who could get the most gold. We kept our own gold that day. Watch to see who wins! It was a great competition. I think we put that up in June. Peace.
