I love how Sealed Vessel started playing when Fleece and Onion were killed. The violin while Bingus killed the inspector was such art.

Bruh Jib is MADE to be a Tundra pup. High sympathy, low aggression, even a color close to the only canon tundra scug.

At first I was sad that Jib didn't get to be the aquatic one, since he did so well surviving in the water tests, but y'know what? You're dead right, actually. Over the break, I came up with some titles for them, since, y'know, all the playable scugs have them and I think these little guys have earned 'em. I've been calling Bingus the Prodigy, Fleece the Opportunist, and Onion the Avenger (tbh Fleece is the only one I'm dead set on of those three). Jib, meanwhile, is called the Paragon. So it's only fitting that he would be of the same species as the Saint, another slugcat defined by their altruism, courage and Karma.

@@Psyaeiou Probably not, but there's other ways Jib could contribute to the group. Mainly as a distraction, without being in nearly as much danger due to high mobility

@@Psyaeiouunsure, but I’ve noticed that my tundrapup is actually able to throw spears for some reason? She acts like a normal tundrapup other than that, vegetarian, tongue grapple ability, etc. I noticed this happening after I installed Emerald’s tweaks and features mod. I have the brave pups checkbox ticked off, so it may be due to that. I’ll have to do a little more testing with that to confirm though - who knows, maybe we’ll get to see Jib fight as a tundrapup!

I can just imagine jib having a mental breakdown mid video

I don’t remember the pups being referred to as siblings at the start of this series, but in a strange way it fits, despite the fact that these tests theoretically happen separately with the pups having no memory of previous experiments they’ve still managed to develop a bond and they stick together even though these situations are completely beyond their understanding. I could also just be misunderstanding the whole thing idk

I just wanna say how surprised I was about how Fleece's initial death was, not only had the inspector grabbed the spear Fleece threw at it, but hit them squarely in the head and even though they were already dead at that point, it kept attacking the body and throwing it haphazardly around until it eventually fell off the platform, been awhile since I saw something that brutal. Aside from that, Bingus really went off on the inspector after it killed it's family (after so many episodes it feels like one), even trying to push their dead bodies away from it so it wouldn't harm their already lifeless bodies even more than it already had. Overall amazing episode and loved all the extra stuff you added to it 👍.

I looked at the art after the battle and thought “huh, wonder who was commissioned to draw this” and then I remembered who you are lol

If the pups were planning when hiding in the tubes together, it looks like Fleece and Jib had the job of weakening the inspector in the second round. I really like how the surrogate caught Bingus when they tried to eat the snail and got popped off. The region and testing rooms look phenomenal as well.

Loved every minute of this. Poor Bingus, at least he got the Inspector that killed his siblings in the end. Just like with Iterator Glados I didn’t know I needed slugcat Glados in my life until now but that was a pleasant surprise. And the art! Well done on every part of the video

Ok now I really wanna draw these goobers and their begrudging robot babysitter (also big older sibling vibes). I’ve wanted to draw them for a while but have never gotten around to it, but with rainworld art month and my participation it seems like the perfect time to draw these little fellas :D I look forward to the next tests (: If glados iterator exists then does that mean that somewhere there’s a Wheatley iterator? Perhaps Wheatley would be a form of rot, an offshoot living being part of the glados iterator, but through possible tests or whatever managed to gain higher levels of processing allowing it to be closer to iterator than rot. I can imagine Wheatley off in a corner of this iterators can or perhaps a nearby collapsed can, trying his hand at his own experiments. :0 MAYBE HE MADE YEEKS AND THATS WHYRE THEYRE SO BRAINDEAD

Another test with gruesome results, though that is all that can be hoped for when dealing with lifeforms of such modest intellect. I can't help but notice that the subject's individual holding chambers have been modified to be more cost effective in terms of space, though I wonder if this may have had an impact on the results? Previous tests showed a better quality of life outside testing chambers to provide a stronger will to live when within them. Overall an excellent test. The aesthetic of your testing chambers has improved, and I look forward to you sharing further results.

The smaller holding chambers were only used in this instance to easily display the differences between the modified test subjects. Their original holding cells still exist.

Was feeling a bit down recently due to life's shenanigans, but seeing this made me feel better. I can't wait to see what character development these slugpups will have next!

You should keep doing this. The moment where bingus fought was good, but i liked more that he moved all of his friends in 1 spot, or im blind i dont know.

The way the slugpups acted was honestly amazing Bingus avenging his fallen brethren and finally killing the Inspector with pure , unbridled rage was absolute cinema,. Teamwork truly did make the dream work My analysis Fleece- The blue one. A Crazy mf. he’s impulsive , energetic , and violent. he knows you only live once and charges head first straight toward into problems killing them and anything that moves. He acts almost to how a real player would act spamming his weapons in hopes they stop moving. his speed and whits are his greatest strength he seems to be bravest behind Bingus. This buff brought out Fleeces potential Bingus- The black one. a brave slugpup who enjoys the company of others, they only fight when they have to or when there’s a threat thats attacking their brethren. He’s quite docile and curious but a ruthless fighter when vengeful. This buff really helped him out Onion- the fat one. Seems to be more of a pacifist as they have shown no action of fighting , they seem to enjoy running around , playing, eating and doing nothing and only fights when they really need to, a downgrade to their original form, but they tried their best. Jib - The green one. They enjoy the company of their brethren, They are a brave but a hesitant fighter who only gains courage when others are fighting with him , they are more likely to follow the group and seem to take admiration for their brothers fighting and follow their footsteps,

Bingus had enough, my man 1v1 an inspector and won and while battling he was pushing his brothers bodies to the side like he was trying to save them but it was to late

There seems to be a misconception of Inspectors here, not in the video, but in the comments. Inspectors are completely friendly unless provoked, however, since they use the same relationships as DLLs, the Slugpups were scared of the Inspector and attacked it as soon as they could. Of course, the Inspector retaliated, and regardless of its actions the Pups would continue to attack until it or they died. Pretty fucked up, since the Slugpups are kids and are scared for their life, while the Inspector didn't want to harm them but had to fight back when it was forced to.

augh the production value on these videos just keep getting better and better. i loooove the hollow knight music added in, especially when sealed vessel kicked in. the cutscene art is also super cool !!!! thank you for making these awesome vids, the wait is so worth it !!!

Jeez, the inspectors are brutal in close quarters. Ive been lucky enough to only accidentally anger one without too much debris for it to work with.

Hey! So ive found this lizard id (8661), i like to call it the imposter lizards, (also when i found it, i had the emerald's tweaks and features mod enabled, so i HIGHLY recommend anyone who wants to spawn in the id have the mod enabled, thanks for reading!)

Noticed a very large uptick in production value, good on you, also, if you end up doing another hungry game, I would find it fitting that you pitted the pups against a scavenger den because of the blood feud that slugcats and scavs have.

I think Fleece tried to get the snail for a second after Bingus proceeded to start eating it. After he was thrown away, he seemed to understand the assignment and went back in the tunnels and watched the snail pop right next to Bingus. Also i think his forced lobotomy in round 1 had permanent effects. Because he was just staring at one of the little things dropped by the inspector and didn't move. The thing wasn't moving, but Fleece proceeded to stare at it and refused to move. Wonder how long it took to get Fleece to stop staring at it. Because it looked like Fleece needed a tap on the head for him to stop looking at it and remember he has other things to do, but I'm just guessing. Also we need more diversity in the new test environments, as it seems like this is taking place inside of some sort of facility, and i would want to see more things like of course, the presence of water, and maybe a few other things. Also i liked the way Slugpup Games 1-3 worked, as the newer ones immediately dump them in with the threat(s) and make it hard for them to do stuff with food or to familiarize themselves with the environment of the test chamber. Also give Jib a genetic modifier that isn't tundra pup.
