Have fun with me! I could have spent hours playing with and auditioning laces, appliqués, embroideries for this journal cover. Using vintage rectangular doilies, dresser scarf, placemat...approximately 10-16".

Pretty. What batting weight works best? I'm making needle books and sewing kits.

Hello... thanks for the question. Just about any weight will work...as your needle will penetrate! I've used canvas...but it's way too challenging to piece a threaded needle through. Felt is good too. Have fun!
