    How durable are momigammi papers?

    So sorry I am not understanding what the printer or the printer paper has to do with anything. Are these pages you like from a magazine and you scanned them through the printer. I must have missed something. I look forward to hearing your reply. Thanks. And yes they are beautiful.

    I know I'm late but I love them all! Do you iron your pages? Any tips for flattening them? Thanks so much. Love all of your work!

    Hello! Yes, sometimes I iron the pages, especially the paperbag to leather look! Or, sometimes I just flatten them when I've finished crushing. Lots of stuff works! That's what is so amazing about this 'techinique'!!! Blessings!

    Hello... thanks for the question. Just about any weight will work...as your needle will penetrate! I've used canvas...but it's way too challenging to piece a threaded needle through. Felt is good too. Have fun!

    Absolutely gorgeous. I live in the redwoods too, and have just a few in my actual city lot, but the remains of a small grove to the east and west of our house. This is BEautiful, Chris. Did you originally paint the pieces that became the digitals? Or if not, what ARE they? It makes me want to make one for myself. I still don’t think my journaling habits lend themselves to a journal like this. But I so appreciate them.

    I grew up as a Catholic also so I get it! My sisters and I always have a saying, “Once a Catholic, always a Catholic” even if you go on a different path. I have always loved Mother Mary as well and have kept from my childhood lots of holy cards, books, pamphlets, small statues, rosary beads etc and things belonging to my mother who passed away 5 yrs ago; she was devout all her life. Your journal is really beautiful and I’d love to make one. Thankyou for showing us. 🇳🇿😀

  • @GrandmasLaces

    Yes! that got a lot of votes! So, I actually sent two, the layered wallpaper one, plus your vote, the aqua one. The wallpapers all come from a fairly local place called FABMO. They save thousand of tons of wallpapers, fabrics, and more from the landfill. Every week they make a trip to SF design center to collect! You can find them here: www.fabmo.org Thanks for your comment! Sweet Spring Blessings to you.

  • @GrandmasLaces
    @GrandmasLaces4 ай бұрын

    Hi Shala.... thanks for your comment! The borderless print command is in the print size. Mine shows US Letter 8.5 by 11, then has a little up and down arrow. That will give you the option for borderless. I did a screen shot, but cant figure how to post it here. Thanks again, have fun!
