Slow feelings (another piano song)

Музыка

another improv thing I came up with, I'm not an expert piano player or anything so some of it may sound off
I also really wanted it to sound like a Yume 2kki area

I like the bready, long cat that goes along with the piano. :3 Also, hello, been a while since I replied to your message that other day regarding the game with the succulents. I..wasn't sure what to reply with, I had so much to say, and all of a sudden I felt embarrassed to write so much after I made it clear that it really is my preferred way of writing comments. ♫ Incoming wave of text since this little piano piece of yours has reminded me of something. ♫ So..this...piano tune. It...reminded me of how comforting and soft it can sound when played slowly. And how sometimes some notes can be louder sometimes. Erm...well..for context. I've just joined a music club in my University. And..I've been wondering what type of instrument I should pick up. I have 2 options. My first option was that I could try learning the piano! It's been something I've been wanting to learn ever since I was a child, and it's one of the things that I've always gotten to touch and see a lot. My cousin had one, the art tuition class I went to had one, I even have a toy piano when I was younger! And god, my younger sister and I would play it so often........ I think that toy piano of ours is broken now........ or maybe it hasn't..... I don't really know.... I do know that one of the keys have gone missing. Hah. That's a bit of a bummer. My second option would be to learn the guitar! They can sound comforting, and are just in general more portable than a keyboard piano. I just don't have a lot of memories related to the instrument. The same cousin of mine has a younger brother, and they have a guitar, but I've never really approached it. Probably because I wasn't as interested as I was with the piano when I was little. I'm still thinking about it. I don't know the answers yet. But well. I do know one thing. I like this song. It's nice to listen to it as I do my work. It kinda makes me reflect a lot if I'm not doing anything tho, lol. Bye bye, see you later Cry Cafe. :)

I can't seem to find a second comment from you on the Viridi mix D: If you did reply I don't see it on the thread and I'm terribly sorry if that's the case (I also don't get notifications for replys and only new comments). I play guitar and piano so I might have some advice to offer, I picked up guitar first and it took me years to actually fully grasp it and be able to play things well enough to where I was satisfied (granted I didn't practice as often as I should've, and I still have this issue). It takes a lot of practice with a guitar to play complex/even some simple songs well at a fast pace, but there are many styles you could play in that might be easier. I like the versatility of a guitar (being able to plays chords while singing or fingerpicking), but it gets really boring to play it alone (I try to play songs that can be solo guitar, but even then there's few that are fun). Piano to me is more of a complete package, you can easily solo many songs with just a piano and it'll sound nice, with the bonus of being able to sound good even with only some basic music knowledge and intermediate piano experience. I'm nowhere near an expert or really good at piano, but I was able to pick it up a lot quicker than guitar and freestyle much easier. I can barely improvise on guitar at all despite my experience because of the layout of the notes not clicking well with me, but piano feels more natural and flowing. This whole song is improv, you could probably tell, I was able to put emotion in this instrument far better than I really can with guitar. The biggest issue I can say with piano is if you have no prior music experience at all, reading sheet music is a huge pain and steep learning curve until you're able to site read music, whereas guitar Tabs are incredibly easy to pick up right away. Both instruments are good and versatile, and learning any instrument typically helps you learn others easier, most notably between piano and guitar since they are both technically just a long scale of notes strung together. So if you ever change your mind or want to learn something different don't feel like you have to stick to just one, overall I recommend playing as much instruments as you have the chance to (because they are all fun), but as a starter I would recommend learning piano.

@@CryCafe Ohhh, nononono! You're completely right in not being able to find that comment, because it doesn't exist! I didn't write anything for it because it suddenly dawned on me that I was talking to a real, completely different human being than I was, who also said that they didn't mind my very long essay-esque style of commenting. So I just didn't know what to reply to it. Well, that's a lie, I do know what to say, I just felt embarrassed at the time to say it, WWWWW. So! The instruments. :) Wow, I never knew that you actually played both of them, that's really cool! I also never knew that by knowing how to play one instrument, that it makes it easier to learn others! That makes me a teeny tiny bit excited at the possibilities that opens, hehe. Your insight on what type of instrument I should pick as my first is invaluable. One, because personally, as I said, the piano is an instrument that I constantly wish to be able to play as a child, but I could only ever get my hands on a recorder and a melodica that was my mum's. And two, WOW, I never knew that the piano is a more "full package" kind of instrument while the guitar _isn't_ . I strangely thought it was the opposite, funnily enough. Thanks again for your insight, Cry Cafe! I'll be keeping them in mind. (*´꒳`*)
