As a Slovak, this is great to see. Ukraine really needs this. But lets not forget the countries that also made this possible - Germany, Netherlands, USA. These countries stationed their air defense systems in Slovakia, making the S-300 available for Ukraine.

Paul - we could only do it because your country the Netherlands together with Germany and the US relocated their very expensive Patriot batteries to Slovakia. I was 20 when the Russian occupying Army finally left Czechoslovakia after they invaded in 1968. To see the NATO allies today actually protecting Slovakia from the Russian threat moves me very much. I hope this protection can one day be extended to the heroic Ukrainians - too they fight for us all today.

@@stefanducky2204 Tak ste nemali voliť zlodeja Fica, Slotu, Mečiara od 2004 do 2016...namiesto toho, aby SR budovali, tak ho rozkrádali kde sa dalo. A pekne sa to dnes ukazuje, NAKA maká ako divá keď má rozviazane ruky. V čerpaní eurofondov bola SR najhoršia ! Najhoršia z 27 krajín EU. Ficovi sa choď stažovať. Kde si bol doteraz? Plačeš na nesprávnom hrobe. Neschopák Fico prežral peniaze z čias, keď bola dobrá ekonomická situácia v SR a celej EU. Nebliakaj tu na ľudí čo chceli niečo v živote dosiahnuť svojou vlastnou prácou a úsilím a šancu videli v zahraničí. Nie ako zrejme tebe podobní večne nespokojní fnukači.

Hungary is currently the biggest enemy of Slovakia, Orban supports the efforts of the Hungarian minority in southern Slovakia for less autonomy. Albania and Kosovo are also hostile towards Slovakia. Turkey (erdogan) also hates Slovakia because Slovakia banned Islam and there is not a single mosque in Slovakia (Slovakia is the only European country without a mosque)

Czechoslovakia was jointly invaded by four Warsaw Pact countries: the Soviet Union, Poland, Bulgaria and Hungary. FYI - Soviet troops were mostly Ukrainians.
