Das ist mir auch aufgefallen - das sind echte Profis, die Gefühl, Verstand und Erfahrung von der Aerodynamik ihrer Flieger und der Umgebung haben. 2012 war ich auch zum ersten Mal da. In der Umgebung hat es einfach überall gute Standorte und wer Modellfliegen liebt, der wird wieder kommen. Ich habe das Dorf auf dem Felsen noch in voller Pracht erleben dürfen, leider durch ein Erdbeben fast zerstört.

Its a ASW 20 designed by a Swiss and produced in Ukraine. The designer‘s name is Thomas Ritzmann - no website - you can find with Google or P. M. Me

Its designed by a guy called Thomas Ritzmann in Switzerland and produced in eastern Europe - he has no website and only makes small production numbers for his friends and the friends of his friends - he is the president of the Modellfluggruppe Flaachtal - Switzerland....

fuselage is mainly glass fiber, the wings are built in a mold, but no sandwich. They have a foam core, a fine layer of some sort of wood, (maybe 0,5mm thick) and of course some glass and carbon fiber on the outer side as well as a spar. It reminds me of the old Geitner Models. Airfoil is around 9% thickness. The Model is lightweight but robust - you can always ad ballast.... the same type of model is also in this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lainrs-qpLG7icY.html

@@SpeedamigoModellflugfilm I wouldn't get too excited, I see 60 to 80 3m planes flying on some of our Welsh hills and there is plenty of room for all. And they are faster, a lot faster. Besides, a kilometer along the ridge there will be something equally interesting. Chill, its a relaxing hobby after all.
