He’s basically the conductor. He tells everyone what to do. He invented the band image and its culture. Most Slipknot’s music video is directed by him. He designed all their live show and all their choreograph like synchronised jump. He’s also the de-facto stage manager, band manager, producer, director and leader. There wouldn’t be slipknot without the clown. If the clown quit, there would be no more Slipknot.

I don’t know how to put this, because I don’t want it to sound like I’m mocking him or poking fun. But, Shawn seems to have reached that fine line between genius and insanity. Something about the way he carries himself, his manner of speaking and how he describes things. It’s almost like the whole concept of the band was based on a wild vision quest he went on.

Rest In Peace Paul and Joey, you will be missed by everyone that knew you.

One of the first ones of these that I got into was actually Corey's and it's still one of my favourites, loved the one with Joey (RIP my man) and I still need to see the one with Clown but I'd love to see one with Jim, Mick or V-Man since that would also be awesome but RIP Joey and Paul and long live Slipknot

I am happy for today's thinner non-smoking Clown. I was at one of the first shows after he came back from having to leave the euro tour for health reasons last tour. I didn't think it was him because he lost so much weight. But it was. I have pix! He was moving around a more than usual. It was awesome.

Boy, i sure hope no member of the band has to read this horrible comment. When you get older, you’ll understand life happens regardless of what you do. You absolutely cannot be responsible in a way like this. They absolutely aren’t. If everything operated this way… there would be absolutely no world to live in. Paul and Joey made the band what it was and then it fell apart when Paul died. Slipknot is not what it used to be and the music mostly sucks now.
