Slingshot Sniper Rifle | Build Video

Фильм және анимация

In this video I took everything I didn't like with my previous slingshot rifle and made a new slingshot rifle from a few pieces of walnut. This is the build video, shooting video up next.
If you would like to purchase the trigger mechanism for this slingshot rifle check out the link bellow, it helps support the channel...

Pro tip: those plastic wall calendars people have in their offices that you can write on with a marker, glue won’t stick to them. It’ll dry up and just pop right off. They make awesome glue mats for this kind of thing!

Great build!... here in ''overregulated'' Australia, you can't have a slingshot, unless is something you build by yourself... (!) I guess they mean the old wooden Y-shaped slingshots, but the ''letter of the Law'' can be translated to something like this... great for target practicing and small game hunting...

You need a router for the edges. It will give you a uniform look all the way around. Kind of cartoon looking. But it takes off material fast and uniform. Saves a ton of rasping. Also you should look into kutzall disc's for grinders. I lost my rasp when I discovered them.

That was alot of work you did making that slingshot rifle and also setting up the camera and getting it recorded and then you edited it. That alone was alot of work that we the viewers don't have any clue what is all included making these videos. So I want to tell you, thank you for making this video for us to see how you made that very nice and sturdy slingshot rifle and I myself am looking forward to seeing it with the bands on it and see how sweet it hits the targets. Great video buddy, this is my first time seeing you on this video and I will share this video, subscribe to your channel, and hit the like button so KZread can get your hard work out to millions of people to see how to build one. I need to buy a trigger system like that you used. Where did you find it. I looked before for those and seen Alot of videos out of Asia making them from melting down aluminum soda and beer cans and pouring the liquid aluminum into molds to make the main body of them. But I want one that will last forever because I want to make one for my grandson who's turning 10 years old in 2 weeks. If you would get a belt sander it will save you alot of time and elbow grease that you used making this one. Overall, you made a nice slingshot and video. One thing I'll add to mine I build, on the butt stock end it will not be straight with notches in the end. I'll make it curved to sit on the front of the shoulder and add the notches into it. Then come back about 1 inch going around the whole stock and add a cut then v file line to make it look like a real recoil pad. But I'm more on the details an I can not wait to see what you do with your slingshot when you finish it. Good luck buddy.

You inspired me to get a little crafty and make one of these with scraps I had laying around. Found some 1x4 pine boards, slapped them together, carved them out, stuck a long 1x2 on top, and made a little lever action trigger out of an old hex wrench and some screws. All I had to do was buy a slingshot and I went with one of those Daisy P51's with the grip and arm brace, because the frame had a little bracket that held it together so I used it to mount the frame on the end of the rifle. It's crude looking, but DAMN does it shoot hard. It's got a 3 foot pull. I'm nailing a small tree in my backyard 100+ yards away. I can't wait to experiment with bands. Excellent work dude! Keep innovating!

I build a slingshot rifle with a drawlenght of 5 feet from the fork to the trigger thinking that the distance of effectivity would increase it didn't, only the power increase. I also noticed that tube bands last longer than flatbands when used in a rifle slingshot.
