Depending on the winds. I’m guessing you will have him in light conditions to start so I would say 3m. But if he’s pretty short then the 2m. It usually comes down to their height because it’s hard for them to keep the tips out of the water. Wind speed determines the size. Hope this helps

Hey Jeff, I’ve got a 7yo grandson that I’d like to get him into winging. I’ll start him off with an inflatable wing board with fins installed in the tracks, but what size wing would be best? 2m or 3m. He’s 4ft.
