Nothing like an early morning, a hot cup of coffee, and a new David Hamburger lesson. I'm looking forward to the workshop on Saturday. I was never sure what to do about G chord licks where I can't keep the correct bass notes with the slide, but I'm glad to learn i don't have to worry about it. 😆

I can see this all done with a slide , no fingering with the left hand. By Tuning my old dobro to open D this could work on a lap style resophonic . I’m signing up! I enjoy your workshops and weekly newsletter. Thanks Dave

Hi Rich - Right? We're all about the teen commitments at my house too :-). The workshop remains available as an on-demand video for an entire year from the original date. So you can register now and watch as soon as you're free to do so, and can continue to re-watch it for the next twelve months as well.

This subject has always bee a mystery to me … How to add a links to my slide and finger picking. The One chord video was a real eye (ear?) opener when you mentioned starting on the “and” of 3. Wow, I’ve been practicing this for a couple of days and am slowly getting something that sound cool(ish). Now I will start moving to the IV chord. Oh, and. Thanks for explaining the Open/Closed terms, they were new to me. Cheers from Ottawa. I’m on a limited budget so may think about viewing the workshop material later on when I’m more in the black. I assume I may do this?
