For slenderness about minor axis,You should consider moment of inertia about minor axis. Correct me if I am wrong.

@Tommy, thanks for explanation, we suppose to consider Imin=d*b^3 /12 to determine minimum radius of gyration which gives the greater slenderness ratio, right ?

Suppose the columns are of same cross section and same support conditions. But one is of wood, one is of concrete, one is of steel and last is made of plastic. How does slenderness ratio differ for different materials? Please tell about it technically.😅

Slenderness Ratio is independent of Material property.
