Listening to this for the first time right now, I have to agree wholeheartedly.

I remember the days I had to illegally download this on my android in 8th grade to be able to enjoy it on my walks to school 🥲 I distinctly remember walking to school in the rain one day when I left my umbrella with this song blasting in my beats! The world paused then. Nobody existed but little 13 year old me me and this song and the rain. One of the most grounding moments of my life. Cheers to making it to 23 💗

When I was 13 my friend introduced me to sleeping with sirens. She never made it to 15 because a drunk driver took her life, and I sang this song sitting by her grave a few months after she died. I'm 23 now listening to this going through a rough time and feeling oddly nostalgic, but connecting to this part of my life gave me some comfort. Thank you, Kellin.

This song still manages to induce the same emotions on me as a now 25 year old as they did when I was 15. The nostalgia I feel when I listen to this song reminds me of a lot of times where I felt hopeless, but now 10 years on those feelings of hopelessness turned into gratitude. Always try and focus on the bright side of life people, otherwise you will live a life in darkness and life is too short for that .. Also thank you Sleeping with Sirens for creating a gem of a song that brought me a lifetime worth of value ❤️

I know how being infatuated feels, and how having that ripped away can hurt. I know how depression feels. I have been bullied and pushed around. I know how it feels when your parents look at you like a plague, or a crack in a perfect glass castle. I have stepped up to the ledge, looked down, and pondered stepping out and falling away. I know how it feels to talk to an angel, who stopped me from ending my sad life; but, now longs to end hers.... I know how it feels to die; to look up through jaded eyes and feel nothing. And, the person I just went out with, and told my feelings to, has a boyfriend that I never knew about until now. Kellin's voice, the music, and the feelings put into these lyrics, all call me back from that ledge for the second time. And that is how powerful this song feels to me.

I remember having this play on my Ipod 4th gen on the way to school after downloading it with youtube to mp3. It was either on the bus to school, or trudging through the snow at 7am to go see my then girlfriend to hang out for our snow day off. That was when i was 16/17 in high school, I'll be 29 soon. I came back to jam, but instead I got hit with a million memories and realized how fast time flew. I can't believe it's been over 10 years, I wonder where all those guys I hung out with all those years ago are? It feels like yesterday we were sneaking out of school early at the end of the year to go hang out in the woods so our parents didn't know we left early. Before school started at the end of August we would buy a case of iced tea from the store and drink it at the playground around the corner on the last day of summer break, talking about all the things we did all summer. What I wouldnt give to go back for a week and just enjoy it. I wish there was a way to know that you're in the good old days before you've actually left them. I can' believe I'll be 29 this year, this sucks man. My 18 year old daughter Isabella loved this song so much and this band. When I would pick her from work she would get me to listen to new songs she loved and I remember this one so much and the night we drove home listening to it over and over. She was killed March 1 2020 in a car accident thru no fault of her own and we played this at her funeral. Now I listen and cry and remember and I will love her even when we are just energy out in the universe. Maybe that's what she wanted me to know ...she is still here in the universe. I will always look for her

I like this because it's different than the hundred raspy voice covers that try to duplicate the original.

When I was depressed at 13, this song made me feel better. It's such a weird feeling listening to it now that I'm 22 & in a much different place. I didn't think I would make past 18 but here I am, nostalgia is really trippy. I still listen to the OG version too haha

@@kskfernando2945 no, depression can hit ANYONE at ANY TIME, those people who act like they have depression messed with people's brain's lol. there may be just tiny signs of it but depression comes to 8 year olds as well. like if the child has horrible parent's, per se. there's really no reason for someone to believe depression can't kick someone in the face at any age unless it's blatantly obvious they're faking for attention, in which case this person did not seem like they were.

His voice works so well for this song! It's perfectly in his range, and you can hear all the articulation. Every chorus's first note gives me goosebumps because Kellin's voice literally melts into the instrumental. Almost like he's singing into an empty hall. It's absolutely beautiful.

Pachonga la caca there’s little to no autotune on his voice, by that I mean there’s probably the slightest bit but you really can’t hear it. What you’re hearing is reverb and that’s what gives it the sound of singing into an empty hall

This cover is always a stress/anxiety reliever. It’s just immediately calms me down and stops crying or hyperventilating etc
