Your description of trypanosoma cruzi was confusing. You're right that the tsetse fly isn't present in the Americas, but trypanosoma cruzi has it's own vectors. Mainly the Triatominae, a form of stink bug sometimes called the "kissing bug". The onset of the infection is called Chagas Disease (instead of Sleeping Sickness) and it is endemic in parts of Central and South America

Actually in night time this fly bites and symptoms pf this disease are usually observed in night because the pathogen comes in our blood in night time and in morning the person will feel gud and healthy because at that time the pathogen rush towards spleen ..lymph etc ...so u would not find its symptom in morning even if ilu get ur blood tested out .... and at night u will feel uneasy due to sickness as they show their effect at night so u wouldnot be able to sleep so called as sleeping sickness 😊😊

Not enough talk on the drug that fixes this (Fexinidazole). This video is to old to know about the new drug in development (Acoziborole) that's being researched now. You have good information on how this parasitic infestation goes about doing what it does, better than most sources we can find.
