I felt like it was a horror movie

I saw one of the bugs in the garden (except that it was black & red) and that evening sustained a bite kinda between the eyes but closer to the right eye. It was very sore, I remember rubbing it in the night. By morning my right eye was very swollen. I was sleeping in my vehicle and I don't have insurance ...and this happened in northern Michigan. No one would believe me unless I found the bug & brought it to the clinic with me. I know that I saw assassin bugs in my garden 20 years ago in southern Illinois but I wouldn't have believed there were assassin bugs in northern Michigan except that I saw it with mine own eyes. Now what can I do to protect my health?

The bugs that carry this parasite are called Triatomine bugs ( (kissing bugs) they belong to the broader family of bugs called Reduviid bugs (reduviidae), (assassin bugs) the other members of this family look similar to the ones that carry the parasite, but dont bite humans and other animals, they are predators of other insects (assassin bugs), but they might sting you if you try to handle them. So what stung you could also be the latter kind which doesnt carry the parasite. Anyhow you might need to get your blood checked for the parasites if it had only been a couple of weeks after the bite , seeing as how your comment is 7 months old, parasites may no longer be detectable in blood and you might need to do an antibody test. Also, the bite of the kissing bugs (the ones that have the parasite) doesn't hurt (similar to how leeches bite), (from what I've read) so if the bite of whatever bit you was painful maybe it was the non parasite carrying insect predator (assasin bug) kind. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chagas_disease chagas disease in US -> kzread.info/dash/bejne/hGRlu7OhnJi2edo.html

so basically... these parasites are living in our Entire Body...... this must be why my ENTIRE BODY.MUSCLES.JOINTS,etc......HURTS SO BAD i wake up feeling so fatigued..malaise.. no energy or motivation to do things.. my stomach is bloated,etc............. & i can't POOP...... UHH😷😭😡😠
