Back in the 1980's, I moved to Germany with my then spouse. We were stationed in Berlin when it was still East and West Germany. In order to pick up our vehicle, we had to take an overnight sleeper train through the East German part of Germany, requiring travel through the Russian occupied part of Germany. Anyway, our overnight train trip was awesome. There is nothing like the gentle rocking of the train while trying to sleep. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful journey. The train seems very comfortable! I guess they could improve privacy by having slightly thicker curtains though ☺ Loved seeing the Bamboo Yokan, very satisfying.

The floor and chairs colour scheme and print at 7:09 is beautiful.

Pwew, such a relief to hear the announcements in English at the train station. I’ve decided that when I visit that I will leave plenty of time to navigate but the translation helps a lot. I’m trying to learn some Japanese but it would be years before I learned all the stops, ha ha. 😊

This was absolutely stunning!! The views phenomenal and the fact that the driver slowed down so the passengers could enjoy them all the more was fabulous! The train was spotless and every carriage wonderful. I can't believe that you were able to get off at stops and get bits, that's unheard-of here (UK). I love how in all of these videos you'll say, 'the train has departed at XX.YY, on time'. These trains ALWAYS depart on time! 😂 So different to the UK, where if a train isn't cancelled it's considered pretty good, and if it actually leaves on time....... wow.
