That's bad ass and Mr.Nelson thank you for that video
Beautiful car, best body style the chevelles ever had combined with an awesome drivetrain, you can't ask for more!
Great video and car build Tom, thank you!
Wow wat an amazing build. Was impressed with the pedal shifts.
You guys are amazing.
Bad ass NRE motor.. very impressive and a beautiful car
Love that car. The paddle shifters are cool but would prefer an old 4 speed standard. Personal thing. Nice job.

personally i prefer old H pattern shifters because it's easy to see what gear you're in when you're in traffic. you spot a "hole" and you don't have to remember what gear you're in to accelerate into it and do you need to downshift to get the engine up to the right RPM without sounding like you're an F16 ready to take off.
SWEET ASS CAR BRO.U DO AWSOME WORK 4 SURE!!
man ... what the price for one of those amazing cars? all cars totaly perfect... you are a monster
good engineering ! I like it.
i want that car so EPIC
Clean... Very nice.
Badass
Why would anyone not like this
Amazing
Sweet car
My bad after more research you can build a 388 LSX without de-stroking it. Props on the build, it's a hell of a car.
thats wicked.
I am a FORD Guy and I like the way you Guys Build your Twin Turbo V8's and especially using Technology to be able to produce 4 Figure HP and still use 91 Octane Fuel! I was wondering about your Paddle Shift Auto Trans setup, Does your setup allow the Choice of using the Auto Trans in either Paddle Shift Mode and Auto Mode or is it a Auto Manual Shift Only setup? I had a 66 Mustang Coupe in High School that I fixed up like a 66 Shelby GT350 Coupe with a 289 V8 and a 3sp C4 Auto Trans with a Shift Kit!...It looked similar to your 64 1/2 Blue Mustang Coupe HotRod Cover Car! I was also wondering if one of your FORD 1000HP +/- Twin Turbo 427ci. Engines fit the Engine Compartment of a FORD 66 Mustang Coupe?...Thanks and God Bless!
I had a 68. Sleeper Chevelle !! Very fast in its day !! 55. In first gere 😎
If you don't want it I'll take it lol Especially with that fancy transmission!
1st This car is amazing. Mr. Nelson’s build videos are the best of the Internet. Sleeper? To me a “sleeper” is something far more boring something like a plain looking 2008 Ford Crown Vic with a 1400HP drive train would be more of a sleeper.
Do you have twin turbo 1500 horse for a 1971 Monte Carlo?
can you get it to hook , just burning off the tires. awesome power though and very cool car.
What automatic transmissions does Nelson use??
I wish they'd at least kept the original steering wheel, though! Those old Chevy steering wheels were cool!
Sequential gear box?
1400? No way
Swell way to pick up a cop (burning tires on public streets).
Who cant be impressed with this beast but I cant help but say its way too much. To the point that I doubt it be any fun because it dont go fast ... it just spins out. De-tune to 700 wheel then you can have fun
Nice car but FUGLY Quarters
ever heard of a gopro?
Damn. I gotta quit watching this shit can't afford it but I can't stop watching. Fuck.
fuck yeahhh, nice men
Engine A+ Door gap.. Ugh
91 octan?!?! we got 98 and 99 on pump.....
If you gotta ask the price you prob. can't afford it.
): PLZ Adopt me
So you de-stroked an LSX? Because a LSX will be over 400 cubic inches unless you do. Unless this is a bored and stroked LS series I smell something fishy.
stupid looking floor shifter.
Very nice old sleeper with modern suspension and brakes. I'm guessing that classic old Malibu has much better handling now. Even the paddle shifters are a nice option. That said, gotta admit it seems like a complete waste to install a 1400 hp engine in a car that can't utilize even half that much hp. WTF is the point in that? Oh yeah... bragging rights. And for hipsters like me, watching/listening to someone constantly hitting the rev limiter is like fingernails on a blackboard. It makes me think the driver is an effing chimpanzee with no driving skills whatsoever. It takes a skilled driver to smoothly harness as much of that excessive hp as possible without tripping the limiter. Obviously the driver in this video is on a banana diet. Also, I bet the tire companies absolutely love today's hotrod zeitgeist of uber-excessive hp engines in vehicles that burn up a set of performance tires weekly.
