I love live performances a lot more!

Noticed your laugh when Vessel got in IV's face. Yeah, he sometimes messes with the others for laughs (normally III and never II, which is understandable, that drummer's always busy cooking). Between Vessel's lego stepping dance during instrumentals, audible crying during emotional songs, trolling during more neutral songs, and... provoking the crowd during sexy songs, his stage presence is aaaall over the place. It's really entertaining. Also, since you've already listened to the album version, I suggest watching a live performance of The Summoning for the drum solo during the interlude (I like the one from The Tivoli, Brisbane in April 2023). Sorryyyyy for the long comment. Love your format, subbed!

I highly recommend listening to "The Offering" with the live version (good recording from Anaheim CA) as well, it's a delight ❤

Oh boy what a journey you're about to begin. Enjoy it, such an incredible talented band. Crazy fact, Vessel wrote all the music except the drums for the first 3 albums. Blows my mind how talented Vessel and everyone in the band is.

2 bands have caught my attention the most in recent years and have close to flawless catalogs, Sleep Token and The Warning (amazing live 3 sister rock band) Highly recommend exploring ST’s entire catalog, lyrics have a purpose and the drummer is a beast.

Some of the live versions of this song go so hard! Vessel even gives us a “bleghh!” This one was more tame, but perfection, nonetheless 🫶🏻 I really enjoyed the double reaction as well!

Bout FREAKING TIME

This was awesome! I'm a studio first/only audio guy because of the fuller mixed experience but I totally get "viewing" live performance for its raw authenticity. More Sleep Token, yes please. Don't sleep on Tool either, "Ænima." It's about Los Angeles and mother/nature. And Fleshwater, Baldpate Driver of course!
