The second chorus of this song always hits so epic to me. The line “each time we battle the blood and the fury takes us a little higher” reminds me of the song the patient by Tool. Gives me solace that the struggle isn’t a complete waist of time and lessons are derived.

This is definitely the heaviest breakdown in their discography for me. This song hits so hard.

It feels Alice in chains. Its a grunge feel then it goes like a gothy dark noir movie track. ❤❤ This song live. Still feels like a fever dream. The energy. As for debts? Right? Between Nazareth and Higher I don't think we want Vessel mad.

A formality it will never become 😃 By the way: on your journey, you will get to the track "Fall For Me". This track is one of the few songs with a videoclip. I strongly suggest to do your reaction with the clip. It really is a 3-part art installation of song lyrics, video and text in the video (and music of course). For me, "Fall For Me" was a track that I would skip while listening. No where close of jumping of the train, but it didn't do it for me. But that made a 180 once I'd seen the clip.

I watched this yesterday, lol but it was on my television. I'm able to comment now. Ok.... I knew you'd like this one cuz it's banging. 😅 I've seen concert footage where they closed shows with this song. They really turn it up at the end and Vessel is screaming "The Debt That I Owe" at the very end and throwing a "Blegh" in the end. Its awesome 😎🤘 Since TMBTE came out they have been closing with The Offering. He really amps up the end of that one, especially in the North America tour. Ok....now i can comment on Take Aim. 😊 ❤ Worship ❤

I found sleep token ill never forget it. I dont remember the artist on spotify i was listening to. But i alwaus scroll to the related artist thing. I was in a bad way. Very toxic romantic situation and i was drinking heavy you name it. The lyrics. The vibe. It all just hit so fucking hard. The desperation in his voice. Its inspiring and it just wraps you in a warm blanket like a hug in the dark. Sleep token forever have a special place for me. And later i met my now wife and one thing we clicked on besides being nerds was our undying love for this band.

This is a great anger management song. When I’m in a mood, this is my go to and I feel so much better afterwards! Glad to see the journey is going well and it’s a good insight into the musically creative mind and how similar it is with many creatives with that need of someone else to bounce ideas off of. II is a phenomenal drummer. I do recommend reacting to one of his drum play throughs after you’ve done This Place Will Become Your Tomb. He is so comfortable and laid back with his kit, he may as well be knitting!

I can see why! Sleep Token have a lot of songs that feel like great anger management songs! Pure catharsis 😊 I will do the drum playthroughs once I have finished the albums!

The opening clean tone reminds me of "Youth of the Nation" by P.O.D. especially with the reverb/delay.

Like this song but it always it’s always landed around a 6/10 song for me. Had a dream about a music video for this song, it was lit as hell and I woke up loving it a lot more. Final verdict after imaginary music video I saw for it: 9/10.
