Cheap hose holder: Command Strip picture hanger-hook and a cheap elastic hair/head band. Head band goes on hook, tube goes through headband (may need to double it up to make the head band smaller). Position on headboard or wall to fit your situation. The head band acts like a shock absorber and provides a little "give".

Jason, I love your videos. I have been on CPAP since 2013, I think. In 2016 I got really ill. I was using the dreaded Phillips DS 1. I got an infection behind my left eye and the swelling caused a pinched optic nerve and I lost my vision in my left eye. Then I developed asthma. I had my DS1 replaced after the infection, but they gave me another one. I used that machine until 2021 when the VA told me that it had been recalled. They placed an inline filter in-between my machine and the tubing. Within several weeks, I felt healthier. I had less asthma issues. They were finally able to get me a new ResMed 11 in December 2022f. Before that I would get up 2-3 times a night, now I only get up once. What a difference. With a machine that is correctly adjusted I sleep so much better. I completely believe that the DS 1 was the cause of most all of my health issues. SO tell the dude that gets up 6 times a night that I am supporting you to have him get a CPAP review.

I’ve been on cpap since 2015 so not exactly a noob. Initially it took me 4 or 5 masks to get a good fit for my face which is a mask leak nightmare with every full face mask I tried. I have severe allergies, so I figured nasal masks wouldn’t work. I was stupid wrong and eventually ended up on an N20. But, much like my never ending search for the perfect purse, I’m always watching for a more comfortable mask. The Bleep looks enticing. Glad I ran across your channel. Keep cat & Lego dude. And I agree: post-cpap prescription follow up suuuuucks! It feels like they drop it in your lap and say “just keep at it, you’ll get used to it.”

I learned from using a CGM, that if you have allergies/sensitivity to adhesives, you can spray Flonase on your skin after you prep it, to help prevent a reaction. This is a wide known tip in the CGM community, and I figured it would be useful for people here wanting to mouth tape, or use the Bleep

A big vote for the original Bleep Dreamports here. Learning to angle the ports when applying them so they point pretty much straight down (vs flaring out away from each other) was key to comfort for me. I use the Bleep with Cover Roll tape on my mouth. I'm looking forward to trying the Eclipse.

No....that added flexibility of where the ports connect is super important (even if it were to have a perceived slightly louder sound). I still have some issues with the older unit (haven't tried newer one yet)- one being pain! Being too inflexible here causes extra pressures on the nose. I hope that helps to solve that!

Thanks! But..I have a question. I have a small nose and I have trouble because the hale sticks out slightly beyond the outer edge of my nose which creates an air pocket that I’m having trouble getting it on with just the hallows tape so every night my whole nose is covered with tape. I’m still trying to get it to work with just the halo but no luck so far. My pressure is only 13 so it’s not super high. I know I’m not the only small nosed person using the bleep. I’m so happy with the fact that I can sleep all night without adjusting and adjusting the way I have to with all other masks. Do you have any suggestions?

I have a weird question. I was originally prescribed a CPAP. I used that for 1 1/2 years & then I was prescribed a BPAP. That was much better for me, but I still own the CPAP. When I try to use it, my nostrils become inflamed after 10 or 15 minutes. Very sore. Why is that?

Been using Dreamports for 6 months, excited to get my Halos. Give them a chance people. Anyways...I had a quick question. I think I got my pressures dialed in and feel pretty good in the morning, but not exactly how I'd like to feel. When I know my machine works the best, I wake up and my whole body feels refreshed and my mind. Right now I feel just my mind is refreshed. Any clue why that is happening? I've experimented with EPR 2 instead of 3 and I think it helps, but level 1 is very hard to use. What other things can I try?

I feel bad for that Tom guy (and I say that 100% with no condescension). I'm probably reading into it wrong, but he sounds like me when I'm at the peak of my frustration with something. I turn irrationally angry at anyone who praises whatever it is I'm fed up with, because g*******t (you're welcome) I've been trying for ages, I haven't had a single bit of good come out of it, this whole thing sucks, anyone who likes it also sucks, etc. :P I will say that I still wake up tired af every day, but cpap helps me breathe while I'm laying down, so I love it for that. I used to hate the hot sweaty feeling with full-face masks, but the nasal one gives me no issues. The only thing I wish I could get figured out is how to keep my damn mouth shut. I also want to eventually try Bleep, because I sleep on my side/stomach and I know I'm getting leaks from the pillow pushing against my mask. As for you just selling stuff... Well, Jason, you've heard the man, and he wants a cat channel. (But seriously Tom, I get the frustration. I really do! I hope you're able to look into what's going on and get it fixed, though, because being able to breathe properly while you sleep is SO important. We need you to stick around! Heck, Jason needs you so he can read your rants! ;P )

Bleep instructions have you shave 1/4" below your nose. I tried it and discontinued it. My nostrils are at an angle that stresses the 'frame'... making use painful. Also, it doesn't flow nearly as good as my ZestQ... I'm sensitive to flow for panic attack reasons, gotta have that flow.... always seemed like the air was not enough. Also, when you have rainout, those metal washers are hell. I like the concept but I'm more inclined to have an angled piece of metal, perhaps custom bent to your nostrils... then a much bigger diameter tube and connectors. Tried it, no likee.
