I’m 63 and these guys are in my head all day long. Grew up on the likes of Can and Hawkwind and am as excited by the Mods as I was as a teenager. Thank you for making me realise that music matters so much. Your tunes are glorious, spare and thought provoking. And make me want to dance.

A late friend of mine used to host a radio spot on 6UVS FM in Perth, Australia (now called RTR FM). That show was (still is) called Difficult Listening. It was filled with all kinds of alternative stuff which would never get any radio play at all on any commercial station. I know for a fact that he'd have loved this band and your comment.

They are great entertainment, different and new. Too far out for you, because you ĺive with your mum for protection. Anything different is a threat to your coccoon.
My dad loves this song but I never knew what the name was and I finally found it thanks for everyone that is looking at this message
These two have restored my faith in music
Guy from England moved into my condo community in Texas a few years back. I raved about the Mods, esp this song. He never spoke to me again, even seemed to avoid me. Guess they're not for everyone.

jcotterill92 Oh yeah, I've always been aware that there's a lot of regional accents, but almost all of what we hear is the standard BBC English. But that's one reason I like Sleaford Mods; they're actually genuine and true to themselves- even if I couldn't understand a word Williamson was saying when I first listened to them.
