Tomas Araya Diaz es un Chileno de nacimiento que ha vivido toda su vida en EEUU su madre lo ha mantenido conectado con Chile pero a el no se le puede pedir mas, el se crio alla, lo importante es que es un buen musico, eso basta.

Sólo puedo decir que si Tom no se hubiera ido a Estados Unidos tan pequeño no habría logrado explotar su talento musical al nivel que lo hizo, vivir afuera le abrió esas puertas, acá en Chile, específicamente en Viña, no habría llegado tan lejos...no porque no haya sido talentoso, porque acá el arte no es importante si no tienes dinero y te dedicas a hacer una wea independiente, y peor aún, en los colegios te incitan a dejar cualquier valor artístico limitándote desde pequeño a cosas convencionales que puedan ser un real "aporte" para la sociedad. Me alegro de que su vida haya sido diferente, pero de chileno él no tiene nada aparte de lo físico, tiene una mentalidad del primer mundo...es lamentable que acá no exista un valor por las reales habilidades de las personas. Por último, hermanos latinos los rencores del pasado han sido creados por las grandes potencias, no se dejen vencer, tenemos que luchar juntos no por separado, la wea es más difícil así. Nadie traicionó a nadie, los poderosos no nos representan ni ayer, ni hoy, ni nunca.

Cool to hear Tom speaking Spanish. If you don’t use your language you lose it. I know how he feels. He can understand everything but it takes time to come up with how to express what you want to say and sometimes it’s easier in English.

Por que no lo utiliza, es bastanta facil perder la fluides. Mucha gente en usa mantiene el espanol perfecto, pero tienen un Ingles atroz o inexistente, y el ingles es naturalmente mucho mas importante

I think he does a great work at talking Spanish. Also he wasn't meant to show his linguistic skills but, contrarily, he does look a little concerned about insulting the language. Hey! He talks with Chilean accent yet! It was incredible for me. Though the voice is a little awkward-funny I really enjoyed the interview. Latin America rules, any regional offensive comments down here should be taken in context: "they're just uneducated people".
