Lombardo kills it. What a performance. Tom has much better voice tonality live than on the album version. And damn those lyrics hit like a brick!

They didn't need fancy stuff. They didn't need fancy riffs. They didn't need masks. They didn't need growling backing tracks/vocals. They didn't need the drummer on top of the crowd, going in circles. They didn't need scary, war paint on their faces. They only needed their music, lyrics and themselves and themselves only. Honestly, this has to be most likely one of the most aggressive songs/performances in the history of music. Note: Jordison. Weinberg, Hoglund, Bostaph, and a few more are incredible drummers, really good! But Dave is Dave. Period.

This song is awesome, but zygotes don't scream. Araya may have been sensitive to the "pro birth" movement (it sure as hell has nothing to do with pro "LIFE"), and we got a great song out of it.

Best version of this song I have ever heard. I think the guitar sound on the South of Heaven album is a bit thin.

The drumming is good, but damn Tom sounds so fucking good on this.

No more "pro life" than Angel of Death is "pro Joseph Mengele". It's just lyrics and a song. Don't pretend Slayer is gonna be on the right wing 700 Club anytime soon. Tom is certainly on that side of the spectrum but NONE Of the other guys are and the band has kept politics out of the equation and Slayer offers ZERO endorsement of any candidate or political perspective. Tom will sing decidedly anti Christian lyrics even though he's not that while Kerry, jeff or Gary will play guitar to a "pro life:" song. With SLayer IT HAS NOTHING TO DO with politics, it never has. It's no more anti abortion than the hundred anti-Christian songs Slayer has that are "anit" Christian. It's just a bunch of provocative lyrics one way or the other. It's just about the act of abortion. Araya equates zygotes to screaming babies. I think the pro life movement is a bunch of total fools (since in almost NOTHIING else are they FOR life), but what a killer song this is. Don't expect Slayer to open the Focus on the Family "pro life" Convention anytime soon. LOL.
