    Last year I resigned at a very good workplace because of toxic colleagues!!! I worked 3places after that and I would not last!I prayed so much to atleast fond a job that pays what my initial employer paid me!I came across Gogo Bathini’s video of Yellow and Blue Candle! I Spoke to my ancestors and I wasn’t sure if it would work!after seven days i started feeling like calling my initial employer to ask for my old job back! One day i did make the call and he was very excited to hear from me!long story short,I am working at my previous company again,earning better and I’m an Equity committee member! I honestly never trusted Sangomas but i still pray with my Yellow and Blue Candle and my connection to Life itself is unbelievable! Thank You Gogo,I Love you

    In my whole life i have never consulted a traditional healer and by the age of 12 i stopped going to church. I pray and thank God whom I believe in and acknowledge my Ancestor's presence in protecting me the whole time hence my friends always tell me that my spiritual life will always cause delays in life.

    I watched this for the sake of learning and not being ignorant. I Just think that under the car example, The whole idea of thanking the ancestors would be viewed as pure gratitude (Just as one would thank God through church). the gratitude enabling one to qualify for this machine that will allow them to move them and their family around, thereby enabling them to better themselves and grow. no necessarily thanking ancestors for being able to own the car.

    The ancestor worship scene in South Africa has got me scratching my head. It's like, everything revolves around what the ancestors want, but how do we even know what that is? We need to consult a sangoma, of course! It's wild how these ancestors can't just give us a clear message, but instead, we need to rely on middlemen (or women) who claim to have the scoop. And to be real, some of these sangomas are just hustling for cash and looking to gain control over our lives. And then there's the whole animal sacrifice thing. Like, why does healing require killing animals? It's 2024, can't we find more compassionate and effective ways to deal with our problems? And why does it always have to involve the whole community? I go to the sangoma alone, I get a job alone, but when it comes to thanking the ancestors, suddenly it's a whole production with family, friends, and community involved. It just seems like a way to keep people tied to the community and reliant on the sangomas. I'm all for honoring our heritage, but let's not forget to use our critical thinking skills too and question these things. We can't operate with the same senseless logic and reasoning we find in Christianity. We left Christianity because it doesn't make sense to us. Now when we return back to "our culture" or "our traditional beliefs", we don't expect to find the same nonsensical type of logic and reasoning.

  • @mdumaya

    @mdumaya

    8 күн бұрын

    Hey, I hear you on the ancestor worship thing, man. It can be confusing, for sure. We rely on sangomas to talk to the ancestors because that's how our culture rolls. Sure, some might just be in it for the money, but many are real and respected in the community. About the animal sacrifice, it's traditional, you know? It might seem harsh today, but it's about honoring the ancestors. As for the big gatherings, it’s about community spirit. We do a lot together because that's how we support each other. Questioning things is good. We left Christianity because it didn't make sense, and now we're trying to make sense of our own roots. It’s all about finding that balance between respecting our traditions and thinking critically.

  • @QuintonLebone

    @QuintonLebone

    @@mdumaya If it is about community spirit, why then when I get a job, all those who were involved in my ceremony do not get jobs too? Why when I succeed, I succeed alone, but when I have to thank the ancestors, I have to involve the community?? This doesn't make sense and you're not addressing my questions. You're just telling me: this is how things are and we have nothing we can do to understand them better. How long are we going to keep on doing things we don't understand?? Killing animals for for food is somewhat understandable, but killing them to appease spirits sounds like spiritual vampirism. If ancestors demand animal sacrifice, what is stopping them from ultimately demanding human sacrifice?? What is the difference between animal sacrifice and human sacrifice? Both animal and human sacrifice works for those who do it. So what is the difference? Are ancestors operating like demonic spirits?

  • @mdumaya

    @mdumaya

    6 күн бұрын

    We can't expect your destiny to be someone else's, they must do their own ceremonies, there are reasons why they do not get what you get. That's part of life. I like yourself never understood this ancestor thing, only now that I'm facing them directly I understand. Gratitude is the major here, I don't think you understand the term sacrifice or its use, the basic concept is to give something of value for some consideration. We do for spiritual purposes and might not make sense for us mortals. Maybe gogo bathini can explain further. Do more research theres alot out there, I'm bearly scratching the surface

  • @QuintonLebone

    @QuintonLebone

    6 күн бұрын

    @@mdumaya Then why do I need to involve people in my ceremonies if I am going to benefit alone?? And if I am going to benefit alone, clearly it's not about community spirit as you've said, it's a parasitic spirit. If I am going to benefit alone, then I shouldn't involve anyone in my ceremonies. Same as when I am consulting a sangoma, I went there alone, I didn't involve anyone. When we are talking about spirituality, one thing you mustn't expect as a practice is sacrificing others. I expect spirituality to be about selflessness, not selfishness. It is about helping people, changing people's lives without expecting anything in return. Now if ancestors demand animal sacrifice as demons do in satanism, how are they different from demons??

  • @mdumaya

    I believe only you have the answers to the questions you're asking. You need to find yourself; no one else can make you change or accept the issues you're facing from a spiritual perspective. Your mind seems set, and the only thing that can help you is your own experiences. This is exhausting for me since you've already made up your mind. So, I'll stop here and let you find your own answers. By the way, someone asked me about the meaning of life and our purpose here the answer is very clear. What's the video again. Goodluck
