the stupidest thing is that bell cymbals like that barely sell in physical stores. Usually you can only get them online, which is a shame because i would love to see huge drummers walk with a tiny bell cymbal like that under their arm.

2:51 - 3:34 is my all time favorite drum part. The way he incorporates single strokes and heel toe during the breakdown is beyond impressive. Love how he does that unique looking swivel when doing the quick quads on the kicks but when it calls for more than quads he initiates the heel toe. That's God Tier 🙌

He’s the best proponent and executor of heal-toe doubles in the game. He generates the most linear power (across every stroke) from the technique out of every other drummer utilising it and can even individualise alternative techniques on each foot simultaneously. Only a few elite extreme metal God tier drummers have mastered them all and have the capability of switching between double kick techniques, but Evgeny is the only one I’ve ever seen use separate versions, on each foot, at the same time. Edit : Phenomenally gifted and has invented his own style at the pinnacle of instrumentalism. Game changer.

It's refreshing to see a drum playthrough with such a raw sound, where you can actually hear the imperfections and know it hasn't been edited to death. This way you can really appreciate the talent behind the set and know it'll be fucking awesome when you go to watch them live. Fucking brutal!

@@natthanbagshaw7410 Sounds way less hard-triggered than a lot of other metal production tbh. You can clearly hear difference in how hard the beaters hit between fast and slow bits, which is not something I can say for a lot of other drummers' sound :P (not that they're less talented btw)

I love that this is a raw playthrough track with real double taps and "errors" and not an unrealistic dub over. Makes me appreciate the skill more seeing and hearing the realness! 🤘🔥🤘

That’s something to see. ‘Ouroboros’’ and ‘Head On A Plate’ are my faves off KOSTOLOM and both are fucken mental drumming tracks. Edit : The entire band are all gifted musicians.

I am super late on listening to this album, just got into it a few weeks ago. I'm 41, been listing to Slipknot since 99 amd Korn since their first album on cassette. Their debut albums are my favorite but these guys are blowing my mind. This IS the best metal album period that I have heard in forvever.

I've listened to Ouroboros so many times i can hear the lyrics in my head-

Насколько я знаю, барабанная установка никогда не была аккомпанементом, так как именно барабаны создают тот грув, который и нужен песне. И дело не в том, насколько технично и быстро играет человек за ней. В пример тебе Pantera c треком Domination и момент ближе к концу. Вслушайся и поймешь, что такой настоящая доминация, жесткость, жестокость и грув. И насколько простой с виду рифф и барабанная партия могут ебашить.

причем я не отрицаю того, что Женёк разъёбывает за установкой. Отнюдь. Я просто напоминаю, что РИТМ песни создают именно барабаны. И только после них идёт бас-гитара, которая, если попадает в бочку, добавляет килограмм-лишний к жиру ГИТАРЫ.

Amazing kit work. Love a drummer that doesn’t rely heavily on the double bass. He plays the cymbals like it’s a set of chimes. And he for sure know his rudimentals.
