@Rockingoodman There's a huge difference between playing a harmonica & singing. The man blew out his vocal cords & had to have surgery & then recovery/PT. Then the entire tour has to be planned all over again, and in a way that hopefully this won't happen again. But the good news is, according to an acquaintances sources that planning is almost complete and the tour is expected to begin in September.
Can't believe it's 2024 and we're still able to listen to these guys record music. We are so fortunate.

It is hard to imagine in 2024. You hear a song on the radio and you have no idea who it is but that is exactly what happened tonight. I heard this amazing, crunchy blues, vocal, great harmonica, unbelievable guitar solo, and a rhythm section that was to die for, as soon as the song was over and the DJ announced who it was, I was blown away. I heard it in real time with no idea of who it was. That hasn’t happened to me in years obviously because technology, of even though I can hear the song anytime I want now, I will never forget that moment in the car

Just so that nobody is confused by what you meant by "played originally," Hubert Sumlin played the lead guitar on Howlin Wolf's original version. Wolf, who wrote the song, sang and played electric rhythm guitar. Lafayette Leak played the piano, Buddy Guy played the acoustic rhythm guitar, Blueblood McMahon on bass, and Sam Lay played drums. Though "Killin' Floor" is considered a Howlin Wolf original, it borrows a lot from Skip James' "Hard Time Killin' Floor Blues" from 1931.

Just saw/taped his live Acoustic set - the song works SO much better with Acoustic Guitar and Singing. Versus Johnson (who I love) blues-rapping over Electric guitar - Check it out- it's the very first song. kzread.info/dash/bejne/h4Oazblyp8m2kbQ.html
Been waiting for Brian to sing like this since AC⚡️DC 'Stormy mayday'
Brian’s vocal = The future 👍

From some less popular AC/DC-Songs I know that Brian is a stunning Bluessinger as well. But don't forget the other musicians in this masterpiece of music who did more than a great job. I love the drumming, the rhythm guitar, the base and the keyboard. They're fitting together like a strong machine. What a great great Band Slash created. ❤
Slash’s guitar sings so beautifully on this.
Dear Slash, dear Brian, dear Steven, thank you for this masterpiece. This song is simply pure joy to listen to. All the best, a fan from Germany.
nice to see people haven't forgotten about the great Howlin' Wolf.

I had no idea Brian Johnson could sing like that. The man has a second career singing blues. 🤟😎🇺🇲

Wow! That was HOT HOT HOT! Great Guitar solos, Brian was on fire, singing in a lower register; and Steven Tyler kicked ass on the harmonica and the screams in between! They all looked like they were having fun!
Fun cover! That switch between harmonica playing and screaming from Steven at 2:10 was soooo badass!
