Man I fucking love Myles Kennedy so much. The man just knows what he's doing.

4:16 this solo is perfect example why is slash so good. people often say something like he is overrated and some other horseshits...yea, slashs guitar skills isnt on very high level, there is plenty of guitar techniques which he is not familiar with. His biggest abbility is to make sound simple things awesome, like this solo. When you go into it, you gonna find out that its built just from some agresively tremolo picked licks, nothing very much sophisticated. And thats it. Slash just beat all of shit of of his guitar.

Just like Phil Campbell of Motorhead. Some people only look to the fastest guy or most popular face on guitar mags over the years but they don't have the real rock n roll vision Slash has. They lose their way.

Being a great guitarist isn't about how many techniques you are familiar with, it's how much feeling you put into your guitar playing.

Oh Sweet Jesus, best song on the album by far, from the 3rd minute on it is really outstanding !

This song is incredible and Myles is great on it but as always with Slash songs I can't help but imagine how deadly it would sound with Axl singing.(yes I know his voice is finished but those with common sense will comprehend what I mean)

Saul and Myles wrote it together. And even though on the paper, Saul wrote the song, and Myles wrote the lyrics, realistically, they did both together. It's not like one sat on the moon and one on mars, they both wanted to make this good, they're in the same boat when writing a song, and obviously come up with ideas for every element of the song.

@@sondrecalmeyer8659 not really, Slash said that he lets Myles do hsi thing cuz he trusts him. Myles would go to him saying something like " there's this lyrics i've got but i'm missing something" and Slash wouldn't even look and say " you got it"

Not true I loved Velvet Revolver and I liked most of the songs in Slash's first solo album. I've listened to all the songs including the ones you mentioned. I like the music, it's Myles's voice I don't like. I'm not even sure what it is. Like I said I want to like it and I've tried it just rubs me the wrong way.
