I kinda have a problem with the way the rules are regarding those pivots. It was in the bells interest with the height advantage to take those penalties. And frank still had to deal with the consequences of those illegal slaps... they need to rethink this scenario and adjust thr rules.

Now, that's was a good corner man... He caught him every time. Especially, the 3rd knockdown.. That's how you do it! Good job!

Here's where I think the rules need to be adjusted: Don't give the slapper credit for a TKD toward the 3 TKD limit when they commit a foul on that slap. It makes no sense that they can commit a foul AND get credit for an eventual TKO with an illegal slap.

When someone commits a foul and the opponent can't continue, it's either a no contest or a dq win depending on circumstances. Here it's a win for the one who committed the foul..now I will say the final knockdown looked clean but the reason Frank couldn't continue was due to the two previous fouls committed by his opponent

To be fair, Frank made this decision before ever meeting his opponent. He did not want to face and unranked opponent with no experience, so in order to be comfortable with that match up, it was determined he would use his left hand. When he met the Bell at weigh in, we all got very nervous for him.

This is the first time Frank has fought a newcomer in years. He’s been fighting top contenders for most of his career. I spoke to him personally, and I think a lot of his decision was to try and test himself, more than just making it easier on his opponent.

I like to think that the staredown "risk" is the 2 competitors trying to brutally slap each other outside of the actual match, as opposed to them fighting like MMA staredowns. Lol
