This ride scared the HELL out of me, and I LOVE roller coasters! Not having shoulder restraints made my torso flop all around like an inflatable tube man at a used car sale. I was constantly panicked that my thighs would slip through the restraints and I'd go flying to my death....which is a nightmare I've had as a kid, I'm sure!

Ha haaa, I've watched dozens of the POV ride vids & that was the best I've seen. That made me laugh out loud, it looked like so much fun. Great footage of what looks like a genuinely thrilling ride. Thatnks for the upload.

You're welcome, +Monty Brewster !!! Skyrush is maybe THE most intense 60 seconds you'll ever experience in any theme park anywhere, LOL! It's in our home park, so we may be a wee bit partial, LOL...

I finally rode this on Saturday and I wished I would have chickened out on it because my thighs hurt every time there was airtime and the restraints also cut the circulation to my legs as well, it wasn't a comfortable ride at all and won't ride it again. I did love Candymonium and rode it twice once during the day and once at night, the night ride is THE BEST! I also love that floater airtime as well.

@@FrontSeatMedia I rode it 11 times over the weekend. It was my first time there. It’s definitely true what people say. It’ll bruise your thighs and hurts like crazy after a few rides in a row, but it’s easily one of the most intense rides on the planet. It’s like Maverick with lap bars. Couldn’t get enough of it, pain and all.

I went to Hershey Park a few weeks ago and i was so scared on that ride but my favorite roller coaster there is The Great Bear

Only ode it once before I had to move back to Seattle. :(

It's not long now til we can ride Skyrush again! Opening day at Hersheypark is April 8, 2017! Who's gonna be there that day?!

I'm with ya there. It cut the circulation off my legs and then the airtime my thighs would hurt. I was crying most of the ride.

Hersheypark? So do you need to take Hershey Highway to get there?

as you get closer, the line splits off for the front seat, it takes longer to get there, but its worth it

There is a lot of air time and the restraints hurt for some people so I don't think so. Try the looper next door hehe

Best to try out some of the more tame coasters in the park before braving Skyrush!

It's kind of on the boring side. It is also painful, the restraints puts a good bit of pressure on your thighs.

@@sportsygirl8 sorry that u had an awful experience with this ride I can totally understand u hating this ride I had a similar experience on 1 ride I kicked something cos I'm quite tall never want to go on that again fear of losing my foot it was an upside down ride no wonder a lot of people were riding barefoot this ride isn't for u still looks cool and exciting to me i would probably still have a go

@@MrRizwaldo Thanks. Oh my! That had to have been scary and I'm sure it didn't feel too good when you kicked whatever it was. Which I'm guessing was probably one of the supports. I've been on many that go upside down or just a hyper coaster where the supports are so close that if you're really tall you could possibly run into it with your feet or head. It is exciting, I knew this rides reputation of being a "Thigh crush" so when my dad and friends talked me into riding it, I wasn't super excited, but rode it anyway, got the credit over with. If you ever come to Hersheypark you can give it a try, it may not hurt your thighs. It depends on people's height and weight. I'm short and skinny, so that maybe why it hurt so much. The boring aspect to it for me is that I couldn't find the kind of enjoyment I get out of roller coasters like the camelback hills and helixes and the very first drop. That's pretty much the best part of Skyrush is dropping 200ft after that it's a lot of twisty turns and overbanks. I am more of a fan of the inversions.

@@sportsygirl8 yes u r rite it was a support luckily it was a toe kick had my ankle hit it would hav done some damage cos of how fast the ride goes i was jus coming to straighten myself out after the upside down bit had no control of my feet so your dad & friends they probably enjoyed it rite i've got big fat thighs lol so this ride mite be ok for me yeah it was scary and was a little bit shaken up happened a few years back there is a similar ride here in England where 1st drop is the best rest of it is meh

@@MrRizwaldo That's good that your toe grazed the support and didn't hit it right on. Sometimes I wonder when they build them that they should make sure the supports aren't close enough someone real tall could hit it. I'm not sure, dad always has enjoyed Skyrush except for when he's on the wing seats, he prefers being in the middle of the row. My friend liked it, but her husband didn't say anything whether he liked it, loved it or hated it. It might be fine for you though, then again maybe not. I think it also depends on your threshold of pain as well. I'm sure it was scary for you, but I'm glad that you didn't get hurt and it didn't scare you from riding roller coasters.
