Fudgemuppet 20yrs from now: "The secret lore of the ants from the stump in riverwood"
The Falmer's lore truly is a tragic tale. They go from being a peaceful and rather intelligent race of Mer to being horrible monsters that live in Dwemer ruins and caves.
The existence of the Forgotten Vale makes me think (hope?) there may be other hidden pockets where Snow Elf survivors may have hidden, undisturbed. Maybe one day they will appear again.
I'm so early the Falmer can still see!
Maybe since Falmer seem to be heavily invested in Alchemy, they can “cure” their madness and become a civilized race again. Their physiology would be a lot different but they could probably build a second Snow Elf kingdom. Imagine in ES6 visiting a Snow Elf village where every person is blind, but can see with Sense Life or some kind of magic.
Who else wants this guy to be dungeon master for a Skyrim themed D&D campaign?
It would be cool if we got an Elder scrolls game that allows us to play as the ancient races like the snow elves and dwemer
SKYRIM BELONGS TO THE SNOW ELVES
You guys are honestly why I love the elders scrolls and fallout games and lore
Always wish there was a way to save the Snow Elves from there fate.
It’s a shame that nobody ever cites the the Bloodmoon dlc anymore when talking about the Falmer. Their quest in it was short, but it was still our first little forte into the descent of the snow elves into falmer. You literally get to wear the Snow Prince’s ancient armour and wield his spear.
No one ever seems to talk about the ending to The Diary of Faire Agarwen.
I never felt much animosity towards the Falmer. While they are vicious and aggressive creatures, and I dispatch them without question, I can at least understand where their behavior comes from, after their systematic abuse and torture by the Dwemer over generations.
I hope the Snow elves will be seen again in a future Elder Scrolls game since there are still a few left. The Falmer might come back too since they’re supposed to be getting smarter.
I love the Snow Elf lore and it really is a shame that we only get to see a shadow of their beautiful people. The lore and history of them in the game is beautifully woven.

The snow elves are my favorite race, and I want them as a cannon playable race
There's a dialogue option with Enthir where you can tell him that the Falmer sound more like Victims to you then monsters.
I’ve always theorised that a fair amount of snow elves may have managed to escape Skyrim to maybe another elven province like the Summerset Isles or Valenwood or maybe they even escaped to Atmora and somehow managed to make it hospitable. Lol it’s probably just wishful thinking because I love snow elves so much tho
I'm so intrigued by this because I love snow elfs, unspeakable and ungodly things happened to them.. now you will help me fully understand why ♥️
