I think the “issue” with this song is that you have to be able to relate to what she’s saying. This song destroyed me on the spot the FIRST time I heard it.. when it resonates, it hits hard. The beat hits like a dull clock ticking time away, its haunting and unreal and its one of my favourite songs of all time. I want her to know that.

You've got no idea what she's referring to have you? Backtrack it (play in reverse) at the correct speed and you'll hear who she's singing it to (you'll hear "hail Satan" countless times, as you will with almost all music).

This song broke me to tears during a break up in 2016 when I discovered it. when I wanted a relationship soo soo badly and hoped that the person would come back realizing how much I really loved and gave myself. I was hurting, counting down the days, waiting for a phone call, gets mini heart attacks whenever a text came in, but they were never the person. I hoped, but it never happened. I’ve cried endlessly, but I finally moved on, and years after this song reminds me of tht place and I’ll never for get it. Its 2020 and I come here to listen this song.

I'm a huge fan of metal and punk rock but Skylar Grey is one of those amazingly under-rated artist out there who actually has talent. Unfortunately only sex sells in mainstream music these days

I've been a fan since 2005. She's made some really big songs since then, some of them are more famous than her. Anyhow, it started for me when she appeared alongside Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park on his side project, Fort Minor, album, The Rising Tied. I'd like to say that's when her career took off, but it kinda just had a small peak at that point. She went from total obscurity, to Fort Minor, and back to obscurity again, with a debut album of her own. In fact, some time after that, I'd heard she was busking for a while, then ended up doing little appearances here and there. Next thing I heard, she'd changed her name to Skylar Grey and was working with Alex da Kid and Eminem... most probably after she wrote Love the Way You Lie. Short version: Holly's always been amazing. Just recently people are noticing that.

I love it that Marshall signs artists like this, who in one way do something entirely different, but fits the label so well at the same time. Great beats, storytelling songs and a great voice.

This is pure art at it's best, everything from the lyrics to the real emotions and her beautiful sweet voice is as close to perfection as can be. the atmospheric bright production with the drums sticking out match her perfectly. also the music video is incredible artistic and reflect the direction which she takes through out the song and even her life probably.

This song is so good, Marshall and Skylar will forever put out such great tracks

She has the voice and looks of an angel, only thing she need is exposure. She's gonna take this world by a grey storm and we'll be happy that she did.

Everyone needs a bit of help with their careers and Eminem was Skylars.

Good God, she is absolutely gorgeous. Wouldve never thought Id like her as a blonde, but wow, you couldnt make her look any less than beautiful if you tried. And of course, as always the song is haunting and just as beautiful. She really is incredibly underrated. She writes all these songs and hooks for other artists to get rich off of and nobody ever realizes. She deserves more respect than shes given, and I hope she gets it. Shes definitely earned it.
