Sad to see one of my favorite game franchises end. I'm hyped for the Reignited Trilogy. And as for it being on hiatus, the franchise is done outside of that comic bundle, season 3 of Academy, and that mobile game. Activision won't support something that isn't profitable. The market just got over saturated, Activision got greedy with the toys, interest decreasing, and decline in quality. Still it was a fun run for the franchise and I got plenty of enjoyment out of it.

The franchise isn’t over. Activision just put the console games on hold to work on a mobile game. After the mobile game comes out, Activision will get right back to making the console games.

I remember Giants so well. Crusher was pretty much the only skylander I used to beat the game. I swear that game, Drawn to Life, and Force Unleashed were my childhood. I noticed how less and less effort was put into these games with each yearly release, even though I never was a Spyro fan. The cutscenes noticeably got worse, the games became more and more repetitive and dull as they shoved out more and more sequels. Even though these games aren’t as good as they used to be, they are still okayish. Even if they are cash-grabs by this point, they are still “decent” enough to hold my attention for at least a couple minutes.

One of the sweetest memory i have from skylanders is that one time i won a tournament and won the trap team game with the set(portal,slylanders). The tournamant was so intense, i played the golden nigth shift and won all my game, in the final, i played against my best friend and won, we're still friends to this day but sometime this tournament comes back into our discussions and we are still hyped by it. Thank you Skylanders for this wondeful childhood you gave me

A game that I grew up with. I’ll never forget how much fun I had playing these games, and how excited I was each Christmas to get the newest game. I’m sad it ended but as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. Long live Skylanders.

I remember getting the first game from a Kmart and being so hyped up and then getting giants in the next year being happy again then I got the rest of the games and then grew out of In imaginators and now thinking of getting the games and a few Skylanders since I lost them all

yes, swap force was the first game I ever played, but trap team was my first game I owned, I get so nostagic over it and I still have my game I play it so much

Still makes me sad that they won’t be doing anymore Skylanders console games, then again it did have it’s time. And Toys For Bob did help make Crash N Sane Trilogy and Spyro Reignited Trilogy I’m still excited, but I hope the completely and utterly selfish side of the Spyro fan base is happy that they got what they wanted. That half of the fan base is way too greedy

CrystalBlazier well I only liked some of Superchargers and some of Imaginators because to me I thought Swap Force was when the graphics were at their best and even though Trap Team didn’t have those same graphics I still thought Trap Team was the best game

I never had the games, but I distinctly remember reading and re-reading the game guide for Skylanders Giants, not caring much about the zones and stuff, but just enjoying reading about what each character can do.

These cutscenes are the best in any Skylanders game. They really set the scene for what's to come, and they really do a good job at showing off the new team of Skylanders from each installment

This is amazing. I love it !

I remembered getting to play the first 4 games before having to get rid of them In the first game my favorite was either trigger happy or gill grunt, but then it shifted to drobot. I was only able to get the pirate expansion and still had a blast every time. When me and my best friend Gabriel played it, we usually ran around the house rather than played making fun of Hugos sheep fear Then i moved away from Florida and then here to Virginia. Luckily i got my hands on Disney Infinity and Giants. My favorite immediately shifted to Pop Fizz and i would always put him in the toy soldier hat from the willakin village. I did only get one Giant, which was Tree Rex. Then Swap force came and i had a bigger blast with it. It made me fall in love with Tessa, which possibly can make me a furry and enjoy playing Tabaxi characters in dnd which i played in the future, and i would always play with Night Shift but swap him mainly with Swash Bucklers and Magma charges bottoms. I still have a small crush on Tessa to this day. Also i was frustrated at Kao’s moms fight. Then trap force came and i just played it, maining Snap Shot. I had fun with it for some time and even got Wolfgang and immediately played with him a lot. Not many memories and i never got that Kaos trap.... Then lego dimensions came and i had to either get rid of my skylanders or disney infinity figures. I gave the skylanders up for it only to be disappointed with dimensions and its future, plus hearing disney infinity being cancelled. Today, getting rid of my skylanders is one of my biggest regrets. Now i look back and see imaginators wishing i got to play it, only doing so once. If i could go back and play with my best friend, keep swapping, and play i would. The thing is growing up, you watch as not only your life, but everything else change. The best thing to do is look back to these memories and savor them, and maybe one day you can relive them in a way. And though i hear skylanders might return, i very much hope so and hope to relive the old days once again

i can say that no other game will top the feeling of getting these for christmas just knowing what they are buy the shape and coming home from school to hop on skylanders what a time to be alive

Every summer, I turn on my old PS3 and play one of these games. It's a very nice and funny tradition you can do with your friends.

OMG i 100% agree i loved the first game had it 100% complete with all skylanders maxed but after that my love for the game SLOWLY diminished... plus i couldnt afford to keep buying all the skylanders

This is probally the greatest marketing strategy in the whole history of marketing strategies

getting new characters every christmas is an experience i'll never get back

i liked how it looked-

Giants is the best in my opinion because they didn’t make all your old skylanders completely worthless and I really loved getting the new ones because they were actually really cool

I’m still playin skylanders to this day (and it’s super chargers only I could afford) who else’s fav skylander from ssa was trigger happy?

I remember playing the first 3 skylander games this just smacks me in the face with nostalgia.
