SkyEye video shows blown out windows in downtown Houston high-rise buildings after storms

    I’ve worked at the Wells Fargo building and the old FIP building and experienced several of the windows blown out from high winds with multiple storms in the past. Believe me this is the worse than I’ve ever seen it.. Recovery is going to take time..

    Looks like the Philip Johnson's famous buildings, like Pennzoil Place and The Bank of America escaped damage, although I didn't see all of it.

    Go figure. Lots of windows in tall buildings in an area that has frequent bad wind storms. I wonder if the insurance companies will raise my premium to cover the loss? And I am over 1,000 miles away.

    @@Threedog1963 So when hurricane Andrew hit Florida insurance rates went up on the West Coast to cover the loss. Expect insurance companies that are paying out claims in Houston to pass those losses to every facet of the people they insure. Home. Auto. Life. Etc. In places such a Boston and Chicago and the West Coast. Because they are part of the Houston Metro Area as defined by a greedy insurance company.
