See, i would've ran Selene and Accesscode Talker, though I suppose ZEUS gets over monsters that can't be targeted. Granted, i'm of the belief that ZEUS should be banned so that we can eventually get Drident off the forbidden list, but that's just me. In terms of blind second builds though, I personally cut out the middle-man and run a copy of both Mind Control and Change of Heart instead of two copies of TTT. The deck draws and searches enough, having guaranteed confiscation is just really nice. I do the exact same thing in my PUNK Twins deck. Though i suppose your logic for running TTT is that you'd be searching it off of Thrust. In that case, i'd maybe just run one copy of TTT since you're not trying to open it to begin with. You could replace the second copy with Change of Heart or whatever card you're wanting to run to substitute either its Pot of Greed or Forceful Sentry effect. If you're looking for a card to substitute the Sentry Effect, i'd consider Exchange since your deck runs a lot of spells that you could set face down before activating it. Think of it like setting up Morphing Jar back in GOAT format, except you search it from the deck with Thrust and you don't refill your opponent's hand with 5 new cards after resolving Exchange. The cost though is that you have to decide what card you're giving to your opponent, so ideally, you'd just give them whatever is the least useful card in your opening hand (assuming you don't open Ash Blossom or something, but even then, you could just set Ash face down if you were really that worried about them getting a hold of it at the cost of you not being able to use it either).

This deck is my kryptonite for some reason, I wonder if I should just play it at 1 or 2 locals to figure out how it loses outside of cheese cards like anti-spell, erad, or drawing the bystials

Immediate counters off the top of my head: Rivalry or Gozen, Fire Prison (immediate loss for Strikers if you can make a link 2 or higher), Lightning Storm or Feather Duster (the deck doesn't really have in-archetype negates to stop them with, its all disruption and recovery given that its a control deck), and Ghost Belle to stop Kagari. Sky Strikers is tier 2 this format at best, which is still really good, but that just goes to show how busted decks like Kashtira and Branded are.

I only play 2 in all my decks. I would honestly even argue to play talents at 1. Other than that, deck profile is solid

Will you be doing a Bystial Spright list once assault synchron comes out? Deck looks to be the best version of spright upon release, seeing as sprights weakness is the dlink match up but that version can beat it

Hey, i just won my first tournament with sky striker, but i play a 10 card spellbook engine and my whole side deck is for going second. I would love to hear your thoughts about it. So i play 2 blue boy of spellbook, 3 spellbook of secrets, 1 spellbook of judgement and 3 spellbook of knowledge +1 jowgen as target for judgement. its basically a draw engine with dumping a lot of spell into the grave.

Nice! Congratulations on the win!!! I think the spell books are really cool! I like the concept with Jowgen as well☕️ I think if you have the room, it’s definitely an option worth considering, especially to catch some people off guard

What if I don’t own a single copy of thrust,what’s a good option for replacement?

Can HAMP tribute monsters unaffected like Dragoon or Full armor master in blackwings?

@@garylloyd9949 the cheapest card I can think of would probably be forbidden chalice. It’s anothe quick play spell that helps you play into boards. Also if you don’t use it, you can always set it as an interruption for your opponents turn. BUT also simplify adding more kaijus can really help this deck out as well☕️

@@asterfeniox hmmmm I’d probably say for the 20 and under cards, maybe adding a 3rd talents, a change of heart, or some forbidden droplets. And I’d have to think for a while about the $34 range, because I don’t think there is anything around that price that I would think is better than what I’ve already mentioned ☕️ but I could be forgetting something

I touched on it in the video briefly, but since your deck has multiple ways to steal your opponents monsters, you can take one of their XYZs, attack with it, and then throw zeus on top in MP2. It’s very powerful, and also makes it to where they won’t get their monster back at the end of the turn☕️
