    This song tells the story of the lead vocalist, Jake. It's basically a letter to his past self, to the kid that was so lost and without hope that he almost killed himself and wound up in the ICU. He's telling his past self to not give up and that he still has a lot of purpose in life, hence the lyric "you still have a lot of songs to write." Loved the reaction! Can you react to Let It Burn next?
