There is no Anzac spirit left, not really, I am ex-military I know what I am talking about. As a famous dude once said, "The marshmallows shall inherit the Earth," and boy, how have they. lol

I remember, in the service, during the war games you'd get a sealed envelope. If your laser tag gear went off, the medic would come over, rip open your envelope, and treat the wound described. That let them get practice too. Once patched up, you'd be back on the line, or depending on the wound, out for X hours. If you got hit without a card, you were KIA. So, my buddy got hit. As soon as the medic walked away, he shot himself in the helmet. The grader / ref was PISSED. Told him he needed to treat this like it was real. He told him he was, and showed him the card and pointed to the groin bandage. The grader just put his hand on his shoulder and said you're out for the day. He showed me the card later.
