We have those now! Theyre called memories and it lets u record a 30 sec clip and when ppl light it they see it like a spirit. Its sorth of a hologram, really cool

The colour scheme of eye of Eden now is much more hell-like and not grey with blue-ish tint Which I think the hell-like vibe fits eye of Eden better :v And also I'm glad that now the screen doesn't shake as much when the Stones fall... Cause like I CANT SEE *aNyThInG*

This was a pre release version too so I’m sure they had other color ideas but this person had the gray/blue variation.

I love how Sky is now, much more cleaner (like not confusing or too crowded). I also prefer the functions now or how the story is being laid out, the ascension etc. 👼☁️

i prefer sky now too :] it's got such a different vibe, but i do think it's nicer! the blue is so cool though, it'd be cool if there was a way to have that theme(?) in the current version

The aviary looks beautiful... Like the Prairie. Not to mention the patterned capes!

ngl as an old vet i kinda prefer the grey eden v. the red eden, although red is spookier grey feels more consistent with the overall stone theme and the realm feels much colder than it is now

It’s still beautiful, some parts even more so. Less shiny/blinding. I’m also very much in love with the cape design. Capes are fairly plain now.

@@nereo3734 still, it's required a strong device to handle that file of cape, many of device now couldn't download Sky because it's getting heavier day by day (more cosmetics, more stories/area....), if this effect be inserted in, there'll not much device that could handle those big files

Personally, I think Eye of Eden is a WAY creepier name than 'Storm'. Glad they changed that part

I really love the old version- I also love how the old Isle of Dawn looked more open and didnt look flat, and it also really looked more similar to Journey and had that vibe to it. Damn if only they kept the old maps..

Honestly, I think you’re just saying this because of the shock of seeing new places and a new environment in sky. The current one is way better from a gameplay and aesthetic standpoint, it’s normal to see something new and think its nicer because of the different layout lmao.

[Spoilers for upcoming Season of Prophecy] - - - - - - - I really like how they seem to be bringing back some of how the old game looked with the Season of Prophecy. The way that the Trials look, all gray and eerie, AND the music, reminds me of this version of the Eye of Eden. I think maybe that's what they were aiming for. It's so cool!

Dang look how rough it is its beautiful but now the eden is much scarier xd i wish the old concept of home will be back its better

I miss the old days where none of your old friends quit, not drama, no jealousy, no expensive candles I love the old sky but looking at it now there drama jealousy even stuff kids can't buy tbh I miss the old sky but I also thing the new version is also amazing at the end of the day I just want to say good luck on your sky journey sky kids! Damn, i wish the old Sky still existed, it looks much better even if the places are bigger than the current ones but there are birds to guide us at the start and at least we could see something in the old eden lmao

Looking at the comments and the video, I wanna point out the stuff I personally like (as someone who has only played the new version and has no idea it looked so different back then). - The first thing that I really like is the look of the cape here, I feel like it blends more with the world of sky and the temple style we have and yeah there are cool capes now, but the little details of the old version look so cool. -Now the crab because when I looked back at my scree is what I saw and it was kind of weird? In this case I prefer the new one, is simple and easy to see what it is - Home. I'm really impressed of how home used to be, in this one I definitely prefer the old one, but combining both, new and old, because always hearing the sound of water could be kind of annoying as well as meditating to go to other place, there the portals are better, but if we could have a bigger "lobby" would be so cool, because of course we can hang out with friends at home, but with a bigger home and combining as I said would improve so much. - And Eden, as a new player Eden is so scary, and seeing how it was back then, idk it doesn't feels like I am "pushing into the darkness" it's just meh; the new version is darker and has the red crystals that are surprising at first but you have that constant red through eden which make it feel more threatening and the blue rocks make it seem like a calm place which I don't think defines eden. Also the addition of the very first area of eden is kind of a preparation and idk I feel like the old eden was much simpler, it's not bad, but it felt unfinished and as if you did nothing, but the space part was really pretty, the new eden does feel more like the start of your new life, a new adventure. But adding, the cinematics of the old version are so pretty, like following the bird, I personally love that. In the end this is just my opinion, so you don't have to agree with me :]. It was so cool looking at this video, it's so interesting to see how much the game has changed and yeah.

Imo I liked the blue better because it actually seemed cool and added a sense of mystery and such to Eden. Eden for me now does the opposite of what you described, I feel the red drowns ot all other elements of it, emotional wise and design wise. There's just too much chaos going on for me to focus or even care about what's happening in current day Eden. It also makes no sense to me why darkness plants are blue, but in the heart of darkness itself, it's on the complete opposite side of the color scale. I don't mean to be rude or knock down your points, I just mean this as my personal opinion based on the topic of yours.

Damn, there were rainbow hearts? So cool. Also, darkness looked a lot like shells ngl.

Damn. I wish we still had this landscape/setting as part of the game.

It’s interesting that they probably removed planting the candle messages because they would be an easy way to restore your energy anywhere. Thought it would be very nice to plant messages whenever you want not even for the energy. Also crabs look scary xD
