I like the consistent trope of being taken advantage of in this story, not sure how quite to describe it. Beowulf was used by Canopy Kingdom to rally the nation. Beowulf unwittingly used Grendel for ephemral fame and fortune, also literally using him as a weapon. Double used Beowulf as a weapon himself, taking down people she percived as threats. Marie used Grendel's arm against Beowulf But at last, Grendel and Beowulf had a final showdown, giving Grendel the fair fight he deserved, and seemed to want.

well even if all the storys has some kind off connection, i think that the most cannon endings are the ones of beowulf and big band

Y’know, it’s simultaneously weird and satisfying to see Double acting less stoic and going all out. Maybe, in the next game (or as a DLC), there could be an alternate Double that fights partially in her nun form and as herself instead of shapeshifting into other people.

He mostly worked as an animator, but when they needed someone to draw a scene with tentacles...

He's just so damn earnest. It's physically painful watching the constant "win in the game, lose/get mocked in the cutscene" repeat over and over.

I love how everyone bogs Beowulf down and yet he keeps proving everyone wrong. It's great. :D

My favorite level is the one against Double in their insides/pocket dimension, just the image of a normal dude (compared to the rest of the cast) suplexing an elder god in their home turf is both hilarious and badass in context

Probably because Beowulf beating Dr Valentine meant she didn't go down to Lab 8 and thusly murder Dr Avian, plus Beowulf went a mite off script from Double's plans and THUS she didn't have a killer ready to go nor did she have time to get another as Marie was in danger and she had to defend her mistress from both attackers.

I wish that every character had the same respect as Beowulf. He seems to have more dialoged and more art to some cutscenes.

I wish the voice actors for Peacock and Big Band played the parts for when Double appeared in their respective stories as well.

not a huge role, but more a backstory of her past, the ones that do have a huge role is Umbrella and if black dahlia/Normal Marie are made then the trio that makes up the biggest role on the canon story will exist
