This comment needs to be elevated. Chefs kiss for you. I played the beta for about 30 mins. I couldn’t handle the fact that there wasn’t a single improvement from Black flag.

I can't believe you called it lukewarm? Your to kined to this game. It's more akin to your dog dropping a steaming pile on your new carpet and instead of cleaning it up you just stuck it in your freezer.

Joe!, you need to set up capture cards on Alex’s and OJs pcs! Then just pipe it into the stream so that you can switch to each as needed. That way we don’t need to watch a blurry AF shoulder cam, or an empty chair when your afk. Plz

I mean I like grinds, I'm even a farming, crafting and gathering freak but this game looks like masochistic torture.

This game was supposed to be a mobile game in the beginning, but the crowds reaction to Diablo had them change lanes. What a clusterf$€£.

The sailing mechanics suck. Go right over Coral without bottoming out, hair pin turns with no change in the direction to the wind. Might as well be a golf cart.

Genuinely ASC black flag had a better pirate game

Yo AJ, the ships all have a different number of gun ports. The problem is that there are all deck weapons and top deck weapons which limits how many gun ports you can use on any given ship. top deck guns are limited to 3 on the sides of the ship and 2 on the front ort back, while all-deck weapons use all available ports. you need to brace to resist dmg and turn on show status effects to see sail dmg and how long before crew attack is ready.also crew att does 12k dmg its not crap if used correctly.and any grilled food gives 40+ stam just eat every 15sec unlimited stam. keybind it you get 30 coconuts ect of 1 tree

It's unbelievable how bland this game is. Imagine commanding a ship that actually feels like a real ship instead of a speed boat. Imagine managing your crew and recruiting new crew members. Imagine your guns not all being swivel guns where you can shoot wherever you want, but instead have to line up your ship to fire a broad side. Imagine unboarding a ship and exploring the island and setting up a base/outpost, where you can build defences. It's a sad situation...

the Single player game Pirates of the Carribean (2004 or 2005) game for the original xbox did all of that minus the base building, but you played a privateer and you could choose factions to work for and recruit officers to join you in combat and you could also amass an armada of ships under your command and assign officers to command them. it was a real fun game albeit a bit clunky and hard when it came to land combat, but I enjoyed that game a lot.

Went back to try Assasins Creed Rogue cause I've played Black Flag too many times. I'm glad I did Rogue is an underrated pirate like game. Literally Ubisoft had the template & messed it up so bad.

Yeah man Rogue was good shit. I liked the vibe a little better than AC4. Kinda crazy that one got a remaster before Black Flag though.

This game should be free to play and even then the player base would be the same

8 ships...8(low crew detail non-walkable/non-interactive) ships in your game based soley on ship combat and ship travel... thats just insultingly low even considering theres probably like 5 more locked behind live service seasons.

We started off to a great start this year with games, First Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League(which was a dumpster fire and still is) and now Skull and Bones, going to be interesting seeing which one will be ranked higher then the other on the worst games of 2024 list.

Sony should make a list of "worst gamecompanies this year" like Ubisoft for skull & bones and Rocksteady Studios for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, mening those gamecompanies get 1 year of quarantine on playstation store with none of their entire gamelist for sale 1 year. I Mean Who the hell cares about AC Red when Rise of the Ronin releases in March... Btw. I don't need a remake of AC Blag Flag for PS6 Pro in 2033, I just need a real nextgen optimization in 2024!

I hope the next “Skull and Bones” stream is just them playing Black Flag. I can’t imagine having to slog through modern Ubislop. Although I did play Division 2 religiously sad as I am to admit.

I understand and respect their stance on not revisiting games with bad launches, but I do really enjoy Sea of Thieves these days. Been playing it a lot lately, and if Skull and Bones was more like SoT is now I would probably consider trying S&B

People play this game? I just got done Black Flag, don’t get me wrong you get one ship to upgrade all game but you upgrade it to a lot better ship then these. When they were looking for “treasure” for the letter(ridiculous), it’s like, woah imagine if you had your 3 buddies storming the shore, going to raid this “treasure” with your swords, muskets, and your crew just full on assault. Nope walk around with a stupid lantern……You have to pay to fast travel? Why!? Isn’t the point to have fun with games, to get these massive ships(which there is only medium size ships, facepalm to that), so you can go after other players and have more fun! Crew boarding cutscene…… no smoke effect after barraging with your cannons…..hell black flag you shoot all 25 cannons and there’s so much smoke, you can’t even see the side you shot on, nor the ship youre shooting at…..anyone playing this game that says it’s good, you haven’t played black flag. Sure graphics are dated in places but superior in a lot more ways then this game. Stop supporting half baked garbage people, if you stopped supporting garbage, showed some care and say hey, this game is crap, do better, imagine what you could have…… I’m disappointed how games are evolving, it’s all paying for cosmetics and mechanics to games that should be earned through playing the game. I now wait for games to go on sale for $20, cause now adays that’s all they’re worth. This one deserves a trash can……

Playing the amazing FF7 Rebirth as AJ and his crew are suffering for Ubisoft's sins

I was listening to the video while playing AC Rogue, which wasn't quite as good as Black Flag in some areas, but enjoyable all the same. It was fascinating listening to the differences. Even the quality of the shanties was noticeable (not to mention how you obtained them). The variety of NPC conversations you eavesdrop on (btw, while hiding from people chasing you with swords that worked and guns that you could fire...), the range of interactions in the cities you could visit and the obscure treasures on random islands or wrecks lying around are just leagues above whatever this game has to offer. Not even going to talk about the quality of a random 3 way ship fight I got involved in when while sailing at variable speeds using angles to maximize the benefit of tailwinds or minimize the harm of headwinds. Why was this 'skull and bone's game made? It's nonsensical given 10+ yr old games like AC Rogue/Black Flag. Hell, even Sid Meir's Pirates had better swashbuckling and ship inventory management.

It's incredible how much the naval combat sucks, what a waste of a decade since ACBF. You would think there would be dynamic destruction & impacts evaluation by now, not only various ammo (grapeshot, chains, and so on) but specifically targeting sails, masts, rudders etc. with appropriate consequences, choosing broadside or at-will firing with varying efficiency, and immediate visual indications and feel of the damage. BUT NOOO hitpoint bar galore it is ! barely any evolution to damaged ships models, shitty impact decals and fire effects ; no perceptible "gunfeel" / "kickback" ; and always the same bumpercar maneuverability ; what a joke of a "game"...

It sucks y’all are missing out on good games. Y’all have streamed this game for like 9 hours total and it’s like there’s been no progress. Just sailing around in dog shit going nowhere.

There are not enough songs in the game. Way too repetitive....

To be fair.. Alex is wrong about end game... yeah it takes a few hours of investments.. Forget the deliveries is all I will say.. You can easily make over 7k coins by having only the red isle secured per run ( which has a pretty fun mini game to get them pve and pvp ) and spending some time leveling them up... and I get not everybody will get this but you can get the brig within a few hours of playing if you play it smart.. instead of relying on someone else to do everything... P.s I am not saying this game is a 10 out of 10... not even close.. not even worth 80 bucks... but it's no suicide squad.. It's going to keep a fanbase... but if you go in wanting black flag 2 something it was never meant to be.. then yeah you will be dissapointed... My only complaint is the price.. should have been 50 bucks... 60 max

I think the best Ubisoft game that came out this year was the crew motorfest. 🎉

I can honestly say playing far cry 6 for the first time and I'm having a blast 😂
