Quite possibly the best space sim on the market currently. X games always were top notch, especially if you play with mods to get past some of the annoyances. It is not an easy game to get into in terms of having to learn a bunch of stuff how it all works but once you nail it all down it's an experience like no other. Egosoft are one of my favorite devs out there currently for sure, have been for over a decade now

DPI is only part of the equation. Thats how fast your mouse tracks counts for movement. The in game sensitivity also matters (controls the degrees you move the camera per count of mouse movement) as higher DPI will generally equate to lower in game sensitivity and vice versa. Zero may have 400 dpi but his in game sensitivity is probably higher. All that adds up to the effective DPI in esports parlance. If OJ has high DPI turning down his in game sens could help. High DPI also helps w/ in game latency but theres a limit to its effectiveness.

Not sure but for sevens I thought the kick off D6 was divided by 2 rounded up in the old rules on the NAF but I could be totally wrong.

Tbf I think this mission is a bit difficult when I did it but if you used to the mechanics and know what you’re doing wise it’s very durable on hard. I did struggle but when I completed it I only just realised there’s a thing called skill points for characters 🤣

considering there was only about 1000 players active during a free open beta, i think this game will be dead on arrival unless they reconsider the 40 dollar price tag
I would have fw it a little, fact it was pulling like 200 players during the beta is an instant pass though not paying $40 to see 0 players online and not even be able to play until the whole game gets delisted/shutdown and I’m out $40. Free to play I would be playing it though

Oh dude what. I used to play a lot of X3 I believe. My PC melted when being in my main industry systems xD This looks cool. Not sure if I have the time though. By now we also have No Mans Sky in all its glory. That reminds me that I played with some insane Battlestar Galactica mod as well. That was sick those big scale space combats
I love how other joe is just the silent assassin, while angry joe lives up to his name while getting his ass handed to him.

1:01:53 You didn't ram into the contractor ship. You were blown up by mines. That waoo sound you were hearing just before you blew up. Those were mines. Rewatch the part just before you explode and you will see blue dots moving towards you. When you get too close, they move toward you and explode.

It’s part of the act. Gamer reviewers will pretend to forget how to be gamers. To play to the audience’s negative side. And most of them won’t catch it. Because they don’t play games anymore.

If only this had the fidelity of that other game, and that other game had the stability and playability of this one. Then we would have our dream space game.
For people that haven’t played a football game in some time, it’s admittedly a blast. But watching comparisons to recent Madden games it’s very obvious it was a polished remake of Madden 23 with College teams. I think your fooling yourself if you think this was a complete passion project. EA without a doubt did not build this from the ground up. They used the system in place to capitalize on the opportunity. With all that said, I will 100% forgive all that if next year we get a revamped game. It doesn’t even necessarily need to be a new engine…. The game being made a new engine will need 2-3 year’s minimum to be made. But the reality of the joy is that we all know that will likely not be the case, and EA is just adding a new copy and paste game to their yearly revenue.
This is probably the most chaotic sh*t I’ve ever seen in my life and I’m only an hour and a half in. 1:46:17 this part is literally comedic gold, would have been better if the fuse was lit. In the first 20 minutes and seeing a cow running around on fire in the midst of OJ’s panic running I knew this was going to be an interesting watch 😂
