Skill, regarding the blindshotgame in the middle of the video: when you are not threatened by enemy spotter and you are sniping around 500 metres, it s often better not to go into the bushes, not to get blindfired, also despite hit indicator enemies hit will try to fire back into bushes

As for the last battle: If there were no bushes, this result would not be there. There are always a few tanks on this map. So playing to the end pays off on maps where you can hide well.

So I got the Scorpion and hated it. It never hit shots that weren't fully aimed in like a Jagdpanther II could. Then, all of the sudden, it started working about a month ago. Maybe all of the field mods made it better

When watching that ad for pugs I thought for a minute skill was giving wot advice. That's how much I trust this man's opinion

@@williamagan3506 It might also make sense if you have a low alpha - high DPM tank with you. Make maximum use of your high alfa to bring tanks within one-two shot range of your ally and focus on the other, healthier tanks. Though that relies on your ally being competent. Personally, I'll just shoot whichever tank is availible to hit and I can reliably pen.

For new player SU130PM is better as the camo is better so you can sit in bush and snipe. For the expert player the Skorpion is better as you can play it like a paper medium with the higher mobility however the camo is a lot worse.

when you highlight a tank the "visible " portion is an outline and the hidden part is solid....what mod is this..makes it easier to hit the tank for damage.

I love skorpion, it can still work on Tier 10 Matchmaking, with a nice gun, mobility and turret ..My humble opinion getting a sponsor is nice and I will definitely use them..but if you can make it a little shorter it can be nice.. My gun works OK, but I feel like my tank is painted in flourescent colours, with a neon sign, and a flag flying off my turret. Compared to other TDs, it just feels like it has no camo at all :(

streamer-rng! For me, the bullets with the skorpion often fly far from the center of the crosshair and i've lowrolls all the time :-( and this, with a 5-perk-crew and good equipment. it's just wargaming.

Played it today, looks like Wargaming has removed the soft stat nerf (temporary for sure) that makes at least 1 in 3 shots go straight into the dirt. Fun playing it today though. Will be completely useless again soon. :)

skill4ltu is less good with TD tank than when he plays frontline with a heavy. It says a lot about the effect you can do when you play good frontline or in the back...

And where can normal people buy a Scorpion G with camo??? You can't.. So before buying this TD you should know this: - German vehicles in WoT generally sucks against most other nations, because they have tanks of 20-35 year newer technology and design. - Many enemy tanks both outmaneuver and outgun the germans as they come with an autoloader. It might state on paper that the Germans have the highest Damage Per Minute (DPM), but what help is that when you don't live for a minute when going up against enemies who will kill you within 10-15 seconds because they can fire 3-4 shots at you compared to your 1-2 shots? - The Scorpion G almost doesn't have any camo-rating what so ever... Well at least not if you want to do anything in the game... If you are satisfied in using the Scorpion as a stationary NON-shooting vehicle then fine (even though it is lousy at that too)... But if you want to move around and shoot then know this - YOU WILL GET SPOTTED 95% of times no matter what you do. Hide behind 100 bushes/trees or in the oposite end of enemy behind severeal buildings... Fire one shot and you get spotted immediately. - The Scorpion G is a TD from WW2. So have in mind that this vehicle is NOT designed/intented for offensive combat and NOT designed for shooting at enemies with super sloped armor that became standard on most tanks after WW2. So shooting at most other nations vehicles will be more demanding (or just simply be aware of the fact that you need to use gold-shots in many/most situations), while you on the other hand can be shot at AND penetrated by ALL other vehicles no matter the calibre, make or model of the gun. You are made of cardboard and that is just a fact. It is so lousy at hiding that you sometimes feel like there is a bug in the game that is revealing you tank to all enemies whenever you fire a shot no matter where and how you are parked. And as it is so lousy at hiding while shooting and/or spotting - YOU max rely on teammates to spot for you! And since most/many battles in WoT today are played by 10-15 individualist who primarily has their own WN8-rating in mind, That will NOT happen often. Mediums and lights are just as often found hiding in the first bush they can find, so they can get safe and easy shots themselves, not thinking about their specific role on the battlefield. And since many players have turned off chat from teammates (or simply doesn't speak english) you can't explain this to them - In other words... You yourself has to play offensive tank in a non-offensive TD (made out of cardboard that every tank and gun can see and penetrate). In my mind WoT is a great game, but they should have made division in the game dividing vehicles in PRE-1950 and POST 1950. Looking at documentaries about armored battles and listening to tank crews tell about their experiences with the different vehicles (both their own and the enemies) it is quite clear that the development of armored vehicles and the advantages of them were based on the knowledge at the time and the need for specific roles in the specific time period. And since development of tanks has had its PRIME TIME between 1914-1950, it is only fair to state that a WW2 tank isn't a fair match vs a tank from the 1970ies. You also have to take into consideration that 9 out of 10 battles become offensive tank battles as the medium/heavy tankers has the general role in the WoT. And since many/most players doesn't have a clue about strategy and roles of tanks/armored vehicles in battle TDs, Artillery and in many cases Lights are just to go along with what the Mediums and Heavies do. (which in many cases end with the usual Lemming-train). I did write that Mediums/Heavies has the general role in WoT... I should perhaps have written "Has been given the general role" because at some time in the game the complaints /whining from primarily the Medium and Light tankers about the realism of the Artillery made a huge impact in the ways battles are fought. WoT changed the entire realism for the artys reducing the Artillery from being a threat to merely being a nuisance. That is... As long as you are in a vehicle with a bare minimum of armor and not made out of cardboard like the Scorpion G. :-( But it is somewhat unrealistic to fight battles where a projectile that weighs 10-15 kg will do 5-10 times the damage of a projectile that weighs 80-120 kg. But that is apparently just something one has to accept :-/ But that is just my experience and opinion. I am no expert and certainly not a super driver, but I am a bit nerdy when it comes to history and facts about how the different vehicles performed in real life AND I have played more than 36.000.battles So having Lights, Medium and Heavy Tanks running full speed with a auto aim on hitting 75% of the time when laser designation wasn't invented until 1979 is in my book something that shouldn't be allowed in WoT. Also the speed and acceleration of some of the Lights are just too unrealistic and when you combine it with auto aim and autoload it destroys the game for many players. I have seen and experienced a lot over the years.. And I must admit that the lack of realism, the mixture of tanks from different decades, the lack of strategy from many players and the lack of communication does, that I can predict the outcome of many battles in the first 10-20 seconds just by looking at where people go/position themselves combined with the MM... AND especially the Match Making (MM) is completely fucked up as they have to compare tanks/vehicles from WW2 with tanks from 1970ies in combination with the players crews and skills (read: not possible). BUT... if you don't care about all that, wether or not you don't have the intelligens for it or simply choose to ignore it... WoT is a great game :-)

Skorpian feels like LEO with more alpha. This is the only tier 8 gun that reliably snap shots and hits 99% of its shots. Just feels so nice to play and prints credits while doing it. Rotation mechanism fixes the slow turning problem turning you into a tier 9 medium.

@@Dovlaboss1992 Do you have a well trained crew yet? Skorpian is by far one of the most accurate tanks in the game. I'm not joking when I compare it to leo 1. Also, turn on serverside reticule and use reticule mod to remove its lagginess. Makes all the difference in this game unless you have like 10 ping. That's why alot of slower aiming tanks often feel more "accurate" It's cause your waiting out the delay with those automatically since your aiming on target longer.

@@rileygosnell1802 I consider a good gun that when you fire fully aimed, shell goes in the red dot in the middle or at least closer to it. 70% of firing fully aimed or not, shot goes on the outer aiming circle line as far from the center as it can.. I had more shells being in the center of aiming circle with Shid Barn FV4005 than Skorp..

This tank is all about positioning and reading of the minimap. Often you do out of view range (445m) shots. Otherwise, you would do surprise attack using corner / ridge / bush to gain first shot advantage. Its play style is a combo of mediums and sniper tanks. The second game is a typical glass canon medium / sniper play where you keep finding opportunities. Notice his game play 20:16. You need to recognize the situation early so that you can get to the position. Also the game play at ~7:39 is a very typical glass canon medium / Skorpion G play using snipe / pull back. If you struggle with this tank, likely it is because you are not used to medium game play. Play tanks like Cromwell at tier 6, Pantera at tier 8 more to develop the feel.

I have it and i so overrated this piece of kaku... no cammo, no accuracy. 0,24 on paper, but in reality 70% accuracy percentage.
