This car is the biggest and best bargain out there. If it was a different badge sales would be astronomical.

I don't understand the Skoda upgrade of recent years....15 years ago Skoda was rubbish, now it is not so far from premium cars...i saw this skoda and i don't find many differences with Passat...line, interior ecc are more or less the same, and also the price is similar...so...why volkswagen did this qwith Skoda?? is a business mistery...

I know this comment is two years late but hey ho. Skoda, Volkswagen and Seat (and some other more premium makers) are all part of the Volkswagen group which is why cars are starting to look similar and you'll find that the systems inside are almost identical.

Well you do get better tech on premium cars like audi, bmw. The adaptive cruise control brakes for corners and when the speed limit changes. Ther are city emergency braking sysstems. Overall the price difference is justified, and i dont think that skoda is cheap. Its priced ok if you get a good discount

I'd not say better tech, maybe more accessible tech; iDrive vs touch screen. My Business SE is fully loaded with full leather (upgrade on half leather alcantera for only £200 plus £250 for heated seats), phone box, electric boot and it has EBA as standard on SE and above. All for £22000! So for all the same kit you'd get in a 3 series Lux or M Sport at about £10k cheaper! You'd need to tick loads of expensive options on the A4 including the same leather for about £2k! You are paying for the name not the quality!

What a stupid comment, the Octavia is widely regarded as a great car.... cannot help but think you are are an Audi snob who doesn’t like the fact that you buy into a logo and a lifestyle rather than practicality
