Skoda Slavia Engine and Transmission: The Skoda Slavia will be powered by two TSI turbo-petrol engines. The first is the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder TSI petrol engine (from the EA211 family) that will make 115hp. The 1.0 TSI will drive the front wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. The larger engine option will be the 1.5-litre, four-cylinder TSI motor that will put out 150hp and a healthy 250Nm of torque; this is likely to give Skoda’s sedan class-leading performance. The 1.5 TSI will come with a quick-shifting dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
Skoda Slavia Launch: The Skoda Slavia is expected to reach showrooms in early 2022.

ആരോടു പറയാൻ ആര് കേൾക്കാൻ 1.5കൊല്ലം മുന്നേ പറഞ്ഞു പറഞ്ഞു മടുത്തു.. അവസാനം unsubscribe ചെയ്തു പോയി.. ഇപ്പോഴും subscriber അല്ല.. Even They are not professional atleast they can check what others says

Beautiful full size sedan from Skoda. I don't know how a 3 cylinder turbo petrol engine & performance in a big sedan like this? But, it's having a 1.5 litre petrol engine also . I expected a turbo diesel but, sadly not ! Driving a powerful diesel is very thrilling experience because of its torque & that thrill will loose if Skoda did't introduce a turbo diesel power plant !

If it offers a diesel 7 speed DSG it will be a better to buy in terms of mileage and fun
Just a small correction. You had mentioned that Slavia stands on top in terms of height and length. But I'd like to correct it by saying that the City is the car which is the longest in the segment and in terms of height, city stands a little taller than the Slavia.

City is taller yet it has lower ground clearance.. Also the gen 5 wheels are way too small and looks Out of proportion for me (subjective) Still city is built better than slavia...

Should have said more on the handling of the car. Most people are going to buy this 1 litre car. The handling in the corners is going to be different for the 1.5 , the engine will be heavier. That car will behave differently as it will be nose heavy.
